About Little Memories Child Care Co-operative
Our Philosophy
Little Memories Child Care provides curriculums that are developmentally appropriate and based on the ever-changing interests of the children. We strive to lead children to feel confident and passionate about learning.
Our Centre is committed to staying up-to-date with innovative and effective approaches to child care. As educators our role is to encourage children to build a strong sense of self-worth by providing an inclusive, safe, responsive and positive learning environment.
Our Centre provides natural and holistic areas both indoors and outdoors for children to discover. Learning opportunities are designed to satisfy a child’s sense of wonder and curiosity, and to evolve with their interests and questions.
We believe that diversity enriches our community and our Centre. The Centre supports diversity in staffing decisions and by accommodating the interests and needs of children. People are recognized for their unique strengths and abilities, including those of different cultures, faiths, backgrounds, and physical and cognitive abilities. Every child, parent, and staff member is treated with the utmost respect, honesty, and compassion.
Open communication between staff, children, and parents is important for healthy learning. Little Memories develops trusting and respectful partnerships between staff and parents in order to support our shared interest in healthy child development and well-being.

Our History
Little Memories Childcare has been in operation since 1982. Originally named Regina General Hospital Daycare and serving only General Hospital employees, we have since moved locations and now invite everyone to apply for childcare.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the management of this daycare seems to think its okay to take security deposits from single mothers who are trying to get ahead in life because the deposit comes from the ministry of social services.. well i called their and asked to speak with her to which ive gotten no call, receipt, bill in the mail. taking this issue to the better business bureau! not pleased at all with this daycare :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ great staff. wonderful programming. Meals are made in house and are more than just soup and sandwich. The building needs some work on the outside, but nice space inside. Easy to pick up and drop off from work downtown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If the kids are sick tell the parents to keep them at home if they don't want cross contamination from the virus and clean up the toys and from each use .. like how hygienically clean is this place..is it hard for the parents to call in and say hey my kid's are sick I'm not blaming the company I'm blaming the parents for not reasoning and telling the responsibility of the child's health condition

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little Memories is an amazing daycare centre with dedicated educators and staff. Educators do a wonderful job of planning learning themes and activities for the kids. Our daughter has dietary restrictions that the staff were able to easily accommodate.
