Initially on first phone call during business hours after previous late night drop off I was blown away by such a large number for the work and I was quite unnecessarily rude and could've been much less abrasive to put it kindly but after some post call research I found that they were more than fair and extremely competitive on hourly rate .. and the work was exceptional ! A+++ Will definitely be coming back if they'll have me considering my temperament prior. All I will say in closing is that anyone looking to get any large service work done with redline, don't be scared away if you hear a large number, they are honest and do exceptionally great work. Very few shops like this left and I will highly recommend.

It’s always hard to know which mechanic to trust, especially as a woman. I finally have one I can trust! Jeff, the owner of Redline Motorsport Ltd. is a family man with a good heart and a passion for mechanics. I have been there a few times now and have always been impressed with their service, pricing and honesty. Jeff, Zack and the other guys there have gone above and beyond my (high) expectations each time I’ve been there truly showing their expertise, abilities and how much they care. During my winter tire changeover I asked Jeff to look into a knocking sound and vibration I’d been hearing and feeling for a while and I was expecting a big bill! He said he took my car for a good drive on the highway to get to the speeds I felt the vibration and determined it was just the weights on the tires, which had since been changed, so there was no longer an issue. He could’ve charged me a fortune for things I didn’t need…and not even do anything - I’m sure you’ve heard the stories of β€œthose” mechanics. He deepened my trust in him and his shop that day and I can’t recommend them highly enough! For you, your family and friends, your daughters…anyone and everyone. Redline is one of those locally owned businesses you can be proud to support and trust! Julie Senger :)

These guys are awesome. We take our work truck there and I've brought my GTI there on several occasions. The work is fairly priced and they always give you options on parts if available. Not pushy at all.

I live out of province and had Redline help inspect a car that i was looking to buy. Brad was the tech doing the inspection and was very thorough with the inspection. He took the time to address all my concerns and educate me on issues related to the vehicle. Redline has been very accommodating with my needs and they have been wonderful to deal with.

I reached out to a number of tire companies last night as we'd recently gotten stuck in a rural area in the snow, found out our winter tires were balding, and had been told that 'because of covid', most of the plants had stopped making more winter tires this season. I requested a quote from Redline, among a few others. Riley got back to me first thing in the morning to let me know the tires had been ordered. I quickly called to let her know I'd given her the wrong size, and not only did she and Brad brainstorm about possible options, but they had revised quotes to us within a matter of minutes. What blew my mind the most was in talking to Riley. I'd spoken with a number of technicians from bigger store brands who, in comparison, didn't know much beyond the difference in the names, and Riley clearly knew tires inside out. I can't get over the customer service Redline offers, and the sheer knowledge between Riley and Brad set them apart from all of their competitors. You would be remiss if you didn't use Redline.

EDIT (added reply for Redline) They are ok. Good in a pinch and prices are fair the 2 times I used them. Front desk is super friendly as well which is nice. That said, they failed me on the last one so I don't think I'll be coming back to this one for anything complicated. I phoned to have 1 issue repaired, and asked them to fix another while in the same area. They repaired the other issue, but not the main issue sighting that they couldn't get the part after "confirming" that it was the part needed to be repaired. I said they " should have called and I would have been ok to wait ", but they told me that they "can't have cars sitting around". So they spent the time to button everything back up, wasting both my money and their time (which defeated the purpose ultimately). When I expressed my disappointment in regards to time/money wasted they only offered ( I believe ) 30 mins labor off the quote, and they would call me when the part was available. So, I thought. Best to call around to validate this claim. Another shop was able to get me in and do the job ( for a little less ) right away 2 days later (uh-oh!). There was also a wholesaler who had 1 in stock as well ( double uh-oh! ). So I thought " ok well fine.. I'll just wait and see ", but its been 3 + 1/2 weeks and no calls or voice mail. So I guess its time to move on! Might use again but not for anything complicated I think. Just ok, not great though. EDIT: in response to the comments left behind by redline. My take on the situation is that I walked into the shop telling them the part that I suspected to be faulty. Regardless of the "confirmation" done the correct thing to do is to check to see if the part is available before the work is started. I would have been ok to wait, and I didn't need the poor excuse about leaving the car for a couple days. I will check to see if there was a discount applied. The Plugs was quoted at $300 so I have to see if the numbers line up. Edit: I'm looking at the receipt and I was charged $322 more than the quoted estimate with no mention of any discounts. So no, but I believe I was offered 30 mins off the next job (which was still $100 more than the other shop I called .... discount included ... so meh ... ) As far as "we tried to get a hold of you" I decided to investigate in case its my fault. My land line ID shows that there was 1 single call was indeed ( and no further attempts ) placed on the Friday (2 days later) on my landline and NOT my cell ( I have screenshot for proof ). NO voicemail was left behind unfortunately. I would have called back to get it done had I known! Maybe they called the wrong number? Not mad, just disappointed.

Had a CV axle re booted. A year later my CV failed. Went looking under my vehicle and found that a boot clamp was never strapped down properly. This allowed all matter of winter water and dirt in. This caused me factory CV to fail. Redline would not even entertain working with me. The receptionist over the phone made it very clear I'm up the river without a paddle on this one. Make of this what you will.
