Co op grocery stores around the city are all the same. They are clean, big isles, a very regular selection of items. I'm not a huge fan of co op branded products so there isn't much to say there. I think the king is still probably Kirkland and PC. Some of the lifers, the staff that you know has been working there for a long time and will continue to do so. You know the type. The old baba managers. They can be pretty rude. Always felt like a real issue if I was bringing in a lot of coupons or trying to get a good deal they would make me feel like I was trying to rob the store.

Great pharmacy staff and the people in the front end are doing a great job. Unfortunately I had a incident when I fell face forward. Had some issues but hopefully we have it resolved soon.

Otherwise happy longtime Red River Co-op member (business and personal). Won’t be going back to Dakota location. Reason is the way the Grocery Manager (Bryson) caused a duplicate charge on my card, then ghosted me then after a month of my effort eventually refunded. I tried to β€˜do the right thing’ by alerting the self checkout cashier when the terminal didn’t produce a receipt (I now wish I’d just left when the debit machine said β€œApproved”). The cashier got the Manager who asked to see my membership card and proof on my banking app, which I showed. He made the cashier ring it all in again anyway against my repeated requests not to since I had proof I’d successfully paid. For some reason that transaction failed and she had to scan it all a third time. It was a $56 receipt and took over half an hour at the checkout with him disappearing into the office then having to be summoned, looking annoyed. When I followed up because of course there were two charges the next day on my online banking, I spoke to Bryson who asked for proof in the way of a screenshot. I said you can look on your records you told me yesterday it would show up if there were two charges. At first he said yes that’s true and he would call right back. He did actually call but said I needed to provide proof for head office for a refund. So I sent him an email with a screenshot as directed. After a few days when he hadn’t replied I emailed again (same thread) still no response. After a month since the incident I called, talked to Bryson he had washed his hands of it said he passed it off to Ashley. I waited on hold for Ashley when she picked and she didn’t know anything about it. When I informed her she told me I’d have to come back in for the refund. I asked her to make sure there was a communication left to prevent issue if I came back. When I came a couple days later neither who knew about it were there nor could Customer Service find any note. I got the refund (held the poor guy behind me up with no acknowledgment for quite awhile). It was bothering me so I politely said nobody at any point in the multiple opportunities has said sorry for the inconvenience so I won’t be shopping here which I’m bummed about. The clerk said sorry, and I said I know it’s not her fault it’s a management and customer service culture problem. I did embarrassingly ask for and received a gift certificate for my time snd trouble, but it came with no apology and a begrudging authorization from Bryson for $5 (and long wait and multiple failed attempts to issue a GC!). I tried calling Head Office to let them know they have an Customer Service / HR problem but gave up out of frustration. Hopefully they will see the review snd address that store’s gap, I believe this experience is inconsistent with RRC standards. To balance… stars given for Grant Park location. the Pharmacy staff at GP are excellent. The pharmacy staff are Professional, personable and knowledgeable. We knew the cashiers by friendly face having continued as dedicated customers after Safeway morphed into RRC. So sad when we moved the relationship with Red River Grocery ends over this. Will still buy gas here.

Really like this new stores appearance but high pricing and very little organic foods. I loved the old store that was there much better, staff are fantastic though

Co-op at this location has been my go to since the pandemic started. The store is large and never over crowded. I love that they carry local items. I usually use the self check out, but when I don't the staff are always friendly.

Clean store. Great lighting. Good flower selection. Needed help at self check out. The lady made me feel like I was bothering her. Not a good impression for me.

Cashier on duty was very rude. She was bagging my groceries, and proceeded to throw me one of my bags to start packing. The store was not busy, no one behind me waiting. Did not say a word except total of bill. I am a 77 year old women with a blind husband standing and she filled a bag so full, I could hardly pick it up to put in the cart. I mentioned this, and all I got was a grunt from her. I have been a loyal customer of coop for many years and have never encountered this

Store is well stocked and easy to navigate. A little expensive, but you likely know that walking in and there are always deals to be found. The biggest problem here is checking out. They often only have one regular aisle open so you end up in self check out. This store provides the worst self check out experience in the city. Other than a couple great staff people, the person overseeing this area is usually one of 2 truly miserable and angry people. They ignore the overly sensitive always alarming machines, yell at customers and chase after people for no reason. This store could easily provide a much better experience by either having more registers open, updating to easier to use self check out machines like every other grocery has done, or firing the 2 incredibly angry and unhelpful people who are usually overseeing self checkout and making everyone's day so much worse.
