★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm so disappointed in my experience this past weekend. I visited here thinking it was still the Portuguese bakery and as soon as I walked in, noticed the place looked very run down and dirty.
I should've listened to my gut and walked out but ordered a cake against my better judgment.
To say it was disgusting was an understatement.
Layers were dry and tasted like bread. Filling was 2" of fake cool whip icing. Cake was airbrushed and literally looked like a disaster. I had asked for fresh fruit and there was nothing but "cream" on the inside.
I was mortified showing up at the party with this cake.
Save yourself the utter embarrassment and go elsewhere.
Clearly new owners who have literally crapped on everything the bakery once was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have bought cakes from them a number times. They were my go to bakery, but I guess the owners changed or something. The customer service, the food, the look of the store proves it all. The cake I got was a fruit cake (mango), it was dry & looked nothing like a $46 (including taxes) cake. Earlier it used to be $30 (correct me if I’m wrong) & it was SO worth it. However what I just ate was nothing but ?
Never going back there, it was such a pleasant experience ordering cakes from them before but now it’s too unappetizing. Beware people, save your money.
P.S.- Someone please recommend me a decent bakery.
