P	Paralegal Services on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Real Estate Council of Alberta are a Bunch of clowns. This so called 'Self Regulated authority'. We live in a democracy people. Wake up!. I look at more and more professions who are self regulated to the determent of the public who think they have the exclusive, I mean the exclusive knowledge to actually run what they do with no legal training whatsoever and the Real Estate Council of Alberta is an example of one..
D	DAVID SHEEN on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Are there any non crooked realtors in Edmonton? Everyone I have dealt with were crooks. RECA I have placed complaints with and again nothing gets done. So the realtors of Alberta continue the fraud of customers and not conform to ethics and conduct guidelines. It is the wild west for them here as they have zero accountability. This is a prime example of why you should avoid realtors at all costs and just deal directly with FSBO-For sale by owners. RECA should be disbanded and fire all employees. They are absolutely useless. Put a complaint in against RECA with the Service Alberta Minister Nate Glubish, I did.

All I wanted was some information about the requirements to close the sale on a home I bought...do we need a Real Estate Lawyer, or would a Notary do? She arrogantly said, "I don't know I think only a Lawyer", I said, well I need a definitive answer", she said, "well we don't give legal advice". What? Who asked for legal advice? Not me!
N	Nonya Bizzness on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst oversite organization. I had a realtor that was horrible. The worst service and multiple lies, over charging, just a crook. I ended up having to fire this realtor and I agreed to pay the amount on our contract that list the fee to break our contract. The home is unoccupied. The Edmonton realtor was so angry over being let go that she refused to turn over all the documents, house and mailbox keys and demanded a large ransom to be paid before she would turn control of my house back over to me. Over a Month after submitting a complaint to RECA no response. I called twice and was simply told someone would contact me shortly but nobody ever did, I sent two emails no reply. So to get my house back and turned over to another realtor a Month later I had to pay the ransom which was 3 times the amount listed on the contract for termination of contract. She justified this amount by stating she showed the house twice so it's owed to her. I guess the other option is to complain to Service Alberta who supposedly is the oversite of RECA. So goes to show a realtor can in fact take possession of your house demand money and RECA won't do a dam thing.
F	Froth Buddy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was looking for information on paying. I asked if it was possible to do prepaid VISAs and she instantly said NO, NO our system isn't set up to do that.... What system isnt setup to take visa. lol As another person said the staff are rude and snappy.

b	bahadir yucebas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are calling this place good luck getting anything done. You will be not welcomed by a wall of a person that will talk before you can ask a question. She is incredible impatient and if you do ask a question she will make sure you regret it. Never seen a receptionist so mean in my life. I am not saying this after experiencing one but multiple times at different occasions. So rather than calling just email them at least you wont talk to the Karen. Good luck!
