I just waited 45 minutes in the clothing section for no one to come help to open the fitting room. Due to an emergency, I had about 7 items I had to try on for a trip. We leave tomorrow so I needed to make sure they fit and couldn’t risk trying and bringing them back later. Quite a few had very reduced sticker prices which normally mean final sale. I couldn’t confirm this though as no one was there to ask. After five minutes of waiting, I check the doors and they are all locked. I see if I can slip under the door but the gap is too small to fit. So, I went and found one associate who shrugged at me and said she didn’t know who could open it and turned away with her cart. Wow okay. I find another woman stocking a shelf and she tells me to go to the pharmacy and they’ll page someone to come. So, I walk to the pharmacy and ask the woman working there to page someone to the fitting room. She looks at me like I have 2 heads. I tell her a worker told me that she could do that. She just stares at me and then goes “okaaaaaay….” and proceeds to make the world’s most quiet page ever where you can’t even understand what she said. She says someone will come. I go stand and wait again for 10 minutes. No one comes. 15 minutes waiting so far. My husband goes to the customer service and they tell him “oh they’re probably on their break.” So he asks if there is anyone else who can let us in and they say “no. They’re the only one with keys.” Surprised, he asks them if this worker decides to go on break, no customer has access to using the fitting room. They confirm this and say she may have even left the building with the keys for her break. And that her break could be 30 minutes. They have no way of knowing. Zero concern shown. They say they’ll try to page them but no guarantee they’ll come. They page. We wait. No one comes. After another 15 minutes (30 minutes waiting total) there are two other people who have come and gone waiting for the change room and one customer who had questions about the clothes that no one was there to answer. Once we hit 30 min, he calls customer services by phone (instead of walking all the way down). Lets them know it’s been 30 minutes and no one has come. And that, now, it’s not just us waiting anymore there’s other people. They. Did. Not. Care. They said “oh…well okay. I guess we will see what we can do.” They page again. No one goes looking for this person who is now late from their break. Don’t try their personal phone or anything. They could have been hurt for all we know! Zero concern. Waited ANOTHER 15 minutes. Nothing. We left. I worked at a Superstore for 5 years and my boss would have been appalled how this played out. Never was there a section left unattended that required the customers to access a service or product that is part of the store. If someone was going on break, they passed off the keys to another worker to be able to open things. Not to mention customer service should ALWAYS have an extra set of keys for an emergency. What if someone was let in and passed out in the fitting room from a medical emergency and needed medical attention and you guys had no way of getting in!l? “Oh, they must be on her break” isn’t going to help you then. Unreal. Irresponsible.

First time buying compostable bags and didn’t realize they sold them in 46litre size… Obviously those won’t fit in my little 7litre container. But I guess Superstore doesn’t do exchanges or returns for them if it’s been opened. Make sure to read packaging clearly, Superstore doesn’t have your back.

I went there to see if they had some Joe Fresh clothes I saw online. When I went to the clothing department the clothes are not organized by size like the West Side Superstore. It was really disorganized and hard to find my size when nothing is in order. When I finally found some items to try on I couldn't find any staff to let me in a fitting room. I walked around for few minutes and just couldn't find anyone. Eventually I just called customer service and whomever picked up had difficulty understanding me. I said I needed someone in the 'clothing department' at least 3 times, specified I meant the fitting rooms, and this person sounded confused. Eventually they said "ok" and put me on hold. After a couple of minutes of waiting I got fed up and hung up. I walked around the clothing department trying to find anyone once more and eventually just left all the clothing. Later when I tried to find a machine to price check a few food items that weren't shelved with price tags, the one price check machine I could find in aisle 8 was broken. Left those items as well. This is how a potential $200 purchase drops to a $30 purchase. I'll stick to the west end location in future.

It was five stars before they re-arranged the entire store. Everything is a gigantic mess now and not even the employees are sure where things are. Why the hell did they do this?? Why cause this enormous inconvenience just to what? Make people peruse the whole store? Because I promise you it causes nothing but frustration.

Very good store. I like the President's Choice brand products. Would like to see the employees provided chairs. No reason they need to be standing there all day. Must be horrible for their backs.

Whether a small or large grocery shopping, this place doesn't disappoint. Moderate prices, good selection, well supplied|stocked, and I must say, improved customer service, I am actually enjoying doing business here. More than a few nice surprises in the non-groceries sections. And, you are bound to run into friends or neighbours for a quick check in chat. And, they are paying attention to the weather too - parking lot usually fairly clean. Recommended for sure! ? PS. The parking lot is showing signs of needing attention - potholes galore. And some spring cleaning would be great to.

I like talking to cashiers at grocery stores. It's amazing what little snapshots you get into a person's life simply by asking how they are. This location has some of the nicest staff I've ever met and they know I won't use a self checkout. I was people staffing those jobs, and I'll do what I can to ensure someone retains employment. Also, the fruits and vegetables are always well stocked and look like they were placed with care.

Good place to go grocery shopping, though for a bigger store downtown it pails in comparison to Safeway or save-on downtown. I noticed the shelves are often bare, and the prices don't seem much better. The staff are nice, place is clean and well lit, and there are lots of people so it is still a good place.
