The RCC is a hidden gem for people too sick to go home, but not so sick they need a hospital. A loved-one spent time here and the staff were attentive, professional and very kind.

Horrible covid test site. Showed up with appointment and still had to wait 25 minutes outside and 25 minutes inside with others. Nurses do a great good job though. Public health should investigate this site asap

Terrible. Had an appoimnent still a huge line up with people that had overt covid symptoms. There number system is horrible, they would pass your number if you were not close enough to hear them. They had EVERyone in the same small space, even people with asymptomatic requests. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. If you didn't have covid your would DEFINITELY catch it waiting in that line up Or waiting room.

My wife came here for pre-rehab work. She developed some breathing problems and was sent to the emergency department in another hospital. She liked Church Street so much she demanded to be sent there for palliative care

I went to receive a covid test, and the line-up was extremely long. I waited 2 hours just to receive a test. There was almost no physical distancing, people had very apparent covid symptoms, and we were all kept in a very small waiting room with little spacing. I suggest booking a test somewhere else.

Waited for maybe 15 minutes before going in. We had an appointment. I have waited for covid testing for up to 3 hours before so this was a breeze. Shout out to Jayson the nurse who did my and my partner's swab tests. He noticed right away that I was anxious and made the process funny, light and non-stressful while staying professional and efficient. I can't believe I'm going to say it but as I had joked with him, I could keep getting tested all day with how smoothly it went (of course I don't want to though lol). Even the security guard was friendly and the nurse was, too. There was even free parking. Wish all covid testing and hospital experiences were this good. -1 star just because I think hospitals can't/shouldn't be able to get a full five stars haha

I was there in January and February, I've read a few reviews and I'm not sure if everyone is just over reacting but I've been to this location twice both times to do covid tests when I registered online it did mention wait times but even so it really wasn't that bad. I'm sure a lot of people just show up without appointments but I'm sure they can't just turn them away. The waiting room itself is literally an ER waiting room as this was once a hospital.....they space the seats out and won't allow you to sit next to each other even if you are family. They also have a set number like anywhere else as to how many people can be inside at a time hence the lines outside..... Based on the overwhelming amount oh covid tests having to be done....the cleaning after each person....the physical distancing.....I think they did an absolutely amazing job. Some of the staff seemed a bit grumpy I'll give them that but I can't imagine the stress the staff has to face a lot of the people in the line with me were incredibly rude.

The 5 hospital systems rent from the HRH System. They are tenants there and HRH is the landlord. Like most landlords it is about the optimization of profit. The care of the patient is an incidental concern. 1) Fitted sheets for the base air mattress were not deemed essential or provided by HRH. The Osler staff claimed it was not good or part of the manufactures recommended configuration. Fortunate for my dad I know and have an excellent relationship with Hill-Rom. (Correct bedding was secured at the guests expense) Never trust a hotel that wants you to bring your own sheets. If they will skimp on contact points with the customer/patient they will hose you on other cost areas you cannot see. 2) Facility maintenance is third string at best. HVAC is from the 70s and Homer Simpson seems to be in charge. My father’s room was running over temp and I had to complain. Osler staff didn’t action on the situation and claimed “they are only tenants” and had to call security to address the problem. Security then called Homer and… apparently in the time of COVID the HVAC maintenance is outsourced and the filters were clogged and…(wait why do I know this? Why is this my problem?) Anyway! He complained about my concern for my 90 year old father and felt threatened by my inquiry and analysis. That’s the HRH facility. The OslerHN is another horror story! Take away: advocate for your family, friends and loved ones in the system. The financial interest are the motivating factors. Document everything. Patient saftey should always be your focus and theirs. However costs drive this near “criminal” organization. Demographic changes will continue to pressure the system financial and culturally… quality of life is getting cheap! Speak nicely to them but crush them legally, with policy and standard of care awareness! Unless they are special caregivers they are slot machines… minimum work for their maximum profit! If you get good care jackpot! Leave the healthcare casino as soon as possible! Food isn’t bad! Be well, stay well… avoid the healthcare system if you can!
