Don't stop making the garlic rosemary ones! Massive sausages, and good quality. Tastes like something your grandparents made back in Europe!

m	michael b on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I get there was a global pandemic and I get that companies need to make profit but the recent reduction in package size PLUS price increase really smacks of price gouging not a response to rising production costs. You’ve reduced the package by 20% exactly… AND in most stores the price for the smaller package is now 8.99 up from 6.99. That is a 30% increase in price on top of the 20% drop in size. There was a recent set of shareholder conference calls by some of the big food companies, 13 in total. The CEOs were laughing that they could draft behind the whole fear of inflation and raised prices for consumers without getting any flack from the public. Gross margins are way up and in some cases record profit. Unless there is something happening with hog feed price or workers are making 30% increase in salaries in the supply chain I don’t see what’s driving up pork prices like bacon and pork sausages. Just like the whole lumber market… prices are sky high but the lumber mills are jammed to the gills. Control the supply and you control prices. Someone’s making big bucks. So I say to REA. Keep your sausages and your new fancy expensive packaging. So many options that won’t break the bank. I don’t reward greedy companies.
