I can't say enough good things about Shawna Trudeau, and the experience I had both selling my house and searching for another place to purchase. To start off, the first people to view my house ended up purchasing it. That wouldn't have been the case if Shawna, and her father, didn't already have a potentially interested purchaser immediately in mind, whom they informed of my property the night we agreed to list it. I have no idea how much longer my place would have sat on the market if I didn't use an agent who has such a great reputation and extensive client base. To have an excellent(!) conditional offer come in less than 24 hours after agreeing to list, then having those conditions met and finalized within weeks certainly took any and all stress away from the selling process. It was pretty amazing actually. That said, that doesn't even come close to the work and effort Shawna put in to help me find a place to purchase. I don't even know where to start. The area I was searching in was very large. The types of places I was looking for were not specific. These two things led to an absolute plethora of potential listings I was finding that I was then sending to Shawna to get more information about. And she did. Never a complaint. At hours that are well outside the normal working hours of the day. Also seeming to get the exact, pertinent information needed for me to decide if a place was worth viewing. And after she did that research for me, over and over again I had her drive out to view properties far-and-wide. Some very far, which upon entry to the building you may immediately realize that it's "not quite right" and that the trip was wasted. Again, never a complaint. She's seriously out to make sure you find the property that you want, and goes the extra mile to make it happen. There's more! As I'm new to real estate, I had to repeatedly lean on Shawna's knowledge and experience for guidance and opinions. Whether I required clarifications to specific steps in the buying or selling process, or whether it was asking her for detailed valuations and estimated valuations of past, present and, potential future, renovated houses, her answers were always clear, concise and packed with the knowledgable facts you'd want from somebody who has been a realtor in the area for 15 years. She knows her stuff and it shows. There's even more. What about me having a quickly approaching closing date, without yet having a place purchased to live in, so Shawna contacts people she knows (she knows everybody by the way), for a potential short-term rental if I required it? That was done without asking her. She just knew my situation and did it and I couldn't have been more grateful as it was one less thing i had to worry about at the time. What about reading and responding to my oh-so-many lengthy emails, always full of my own idiocy, again without any complaints and always with rapid, timely replies. Constantly staying on top of the status of multiple properties, having obvious fantastic relationships with all other agents in the area (and well outside the area), and basically just taking away a lot of the potential stress. And I'm positive that I'm still missing some major points. If it's not obvious by now, I can't say enough good things about Shawna Trudeau and the work she did for me. Call Shawna.
