We recently engaged Shannon Perrie and her team from Kristin & Shannon Re/Max Hallmark First Group @kristinkiraly + @shannon_perrie to help in the sale of our home. It was the first home that Natalie and I had bought together so it is safe to say we were emotionally attached to the home and selling it was a big deal to us. We had seen Kristin and Shannons’ work online and were impressed with the quality of listing photos and videos as well as the frequency, quality and messaging style they were using in the various social media platforms. They were both also very active in their community in supporting small businesses and charitable work which we liked. Our home was a little out of the traditional territory where Shannon and Kristin are based (we are in Brampton and their business location is Durham region and surrounding area) however we felt that after talking with Shannon and the quality of their listings as mentioned above that they were the right team to go with. We didn't have to worry. Shannon took the time to become familiar with the area and, when combined with her general knowledge of the industry and current industry trends, helped us to achieve our goal. She asked questions, listened to our concerns and took our input and made it part of her approach. Shannon walked us through her pricing / listing price strategy with the confidence of someone on the top of her game and was able to qualify potential buyers and agents to ensure her focus was in the right place. 6 days, 50 showings, 32% above asking sale = success. What you don’t see when looking at the glossy photos and videos is all the teamwork that goes into getting things to that point. The stagers, the photographers, the cleaning crews etc were all professional, on time and were equally engaged in the successful selling of our home as Shannon and her team. As mentioned it was an emotional process for us and we tried not to torment Shannon and her team (sorry Theresa!) with questions and update requests. Each query was handled with patience, kindness and understanding. Thanks to you all we know you are very busy but never made us feel like we were the least bit annoying! Working with this team was a seamless experience and I have nothing but the highest praise for Robbin! She was extremely receptive to all communication and was extremely patient as she took me to explore dozens of properties.
