RBC Royal Bank - Saskatoon

Extremely rude and unprofessional employees. I visited this branch because it is closest to my house but I don't plan on ever going back. I needed a letter for proof of my accounts. Before I went in to the branch, I called the customer service line to make sure I would be able to get the letter I needed, or if I would have to wait for my payments to process. The customer service representative told me I could go in and get the letter the same day. However, the employee at this branch was no help at all. She said it was not possible so I asked her to get help or ask her manager. She looked like I was bothering her and did not want to help me at all. She eventually went to ask her manager for help and came back and told me there was nothing they could do. I asked if I could explain the situation to the manager and she said no, because the manager was suddenly in a meeting. My father and my brother have both been to this location and experienced the same problems. Overall, their service was terrible. I left the branch and called the customer service line again and they told me I should be able to get the letter I needed. So instead of going back to this branch, I went to the 8th street location. I was in and out of there within 15 minutes (including the line-up due to the COVID). The employee at the 8th street location was able to get me exactly what I needed with no hassle. I have no idea why the Ludlow branch was so incapable of doing their jobs and wasted my whole day. I also do not understand why the employees at the Ludlow branch still have jobs despite all of these horrible reviews.

I am giving this bank (RBC at Ludlow, Saskatoon) a one star because when my son and I went there the 3rd week of November 2018 @ 3:30 pm, the lady teller wasn't very friendly and wasn't very helpful with our transaction about our mortgage. While waiting for our transaction to get done, one lady approached the manager named Randi Shaw and asked about something, but instead of giving her the answer politely, the manager yelled at her saying "we don't have that here". The nice costumer service employee then helped the lady. I would not recommend this to bank with and to work with.

The girls who worked on July 20th at 1:15 were snobby and inconsiderate. Went back on March 17th 2022 and the girl working at the front was such again snobby and rude. She should not be helping customers.

Extremely rude customer service and asking unneccessary questions and information as though they are trying to accuse you of something rather than wanting to help you out. Disgusting behaviour and RBC should be embarrased of their employees at this location. Huge disgrace and save yourself the horrible interaction and avoid this location.

I’ve been here a couple times and I’ve had two very different experiences. The first time was horrible. Waited in line for about 10 minutes with no one ahead of me. When someone finally opened up, I was told that I didn’t have enough information to do a transfer. All I was missing was one, easily Googled or searched piece of information, and I was told I would have to get it and come back another time. By then, the line had a few people in it, so I gave up and did a transfer online. The second time was better; someone was there to greet me and someone was able to see me in less than 2 minutes. They were friendly, but pretty slow, compared to other branches I’d been to. Very inconsistent branch, sometimes good, sometimes bad; I’m just glad I don’t come here that often.

Have banked with the Royal for years and they have always been good to deal with. The location in Willowgrove has friendly helpful staff and 24 hour ATM access.

I don't know why this branch has so many bad reviews. I went with my fiancé to opem a bank account and all the staff who attended us was very helpful, polite, and professional (specially Alex)

Have only ever had bad experiences at this location, the tellers are rude and very unhelpful. After having Trish tell me she couldn’t help me and talk down at me, I called RBC and they were able to help me quickly and gave amazing service over the phone!
