I had a great experience opening an account with TCU Financial. The account manager I dealt with in opening an account was extremely helpful and friendly. The service I have received since opening an account has been excellent and I highly recommend their banking app!

They take the term β€œbankers hours” to heart. Almost never open, e-transfers take an hour to send to other people, they put holds on my long term employers paycheques to me for whatever reason, and they charge you $20 for your debit card if it’s ever lost! You would be much better going to literally any other bank in the area. Their β€œhelp line” phone number is about as useless as a boat made of cotton candy, sure they might listen to your problem and give you an ear to rant to, but they’re almost completely powerless to actually help with anything. I’ve had several friends who have banked here and they also would NOT recommend this establishment.

Nothing but bad experiences in person, online and over the phone. Their client support is non-existent and provide as much help as someone pouring gasoline on a fire to try and extinguish it. Their mobile banking app makes the stone age look technologically advanced, it's harder to navigate than the Bermuda triangle and runs worse than a quadriplegic. Do your future self a favor and switch to literally any other bank. Also the speed bumps in their parking lot are merciless and you could bottom out a lifted truck if you go over one of them head on

My experience with TCU Financial has always been fantastic. Extremely helpful and prompt. This is the only financial institution I've worked with that actively works for my needs. If you don't already use their services you should.
