Very slow personal. Seating and staying, walking and talking. I had to go to another branch to get a service.

I went in for a company deposit today, no customers in the branch and 4 staff behind the counter. Not one person acknowledged me or helped me. The one gentlemen walked away from the teller station as I stood in line and literally just looked at me. I directed myself to fast Deposit area and no one spoke a word to me. I generally go out of my way to another branch because Beddington has the worst customer service. It's been awhile so I thought I'd give it another go. The only consistency they have is horrible customer service. Luckily this is corporate banking and I would never deal with them personally.

Apart from the manager Jennifer being rude. Over the phone I was told my checks(for the same company I've been with for over a year now )will not be held if under a certain amount. I went in today my cheque was held 2 weeks ago it was not as well as the last few times I was told it was however the tellers by passed it. This time apparently they could only release $100 bucks.. so why this time ?the only cheque I deposit is the one from my job that until 7 months ago was direct deposit. Every other bank holds a cheque once nit every time I'm starting to see why this location has such poor reviews I will not be going to this locstion again . The information tfrom the tellers and on the phone is very different and RBC needs to get it together and make sure both tellers and agents are on the phsamw page and giving the customer correct information to avoid miscommunication and annoyed RBC customers

Terrible teller service. 8 people in line and only two tellers. Then one of them goes on break. And a minute later the second one disappears. After a little while, some guy strolls in, chats with a coworker and then sits down and spends the next two minutes logging in. What a joke. No sense of urgency. And the supervisor just stands there the whole time doing nothing about it.

Absolutely terrible customer service. The worst service of any bank I have ever been in. If you need to see a teller might as well take the day off because it will take that long. The service is so terrible I have booked an appointment with CIBC branch to transfer loan just so I don't need to attend this branch again.

I've never had a problem with them until today. I had my bank details and credit card compromised, and had to battle my way through their horrible automated phone system. I was told to go into my branch and that they could not close/reopen my accounts over the phone. I went to the branch and was told basically to go away since I didn't have an appointment. THIS IS IDENTITY THEFT! I understand that they can't drop everything, but come on, I was left out to dry. I've had generally good service and no issues, but this branch is just terrible when it comes to dealing with security issues.

This is more of a RBC review in general. But this is the branch I dealt with. If you're buying foreign currency they will not tell you the fee the bank takes. They just deflect and claim they don't know. Until you get your currency and do the math then realize they take a hefty fee. About 6.5% of the total amount you get. For me it cost $98 to get $1500 worth of Mexican pesos. So if you're travelling and think it's easiest or most cost effective to get currency at your bank, shop around first. It's probably less expensive to change money at the airport or withdraw at an ATM in the country you're travelling. Find a place that is transparent about fees; even a flat fee to exchange, no matter the amount.
