★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This branch has had a steady decline in quality during the past five years and I can hardly recommend it to anyone anymore. The staff are quite often inadequate and even the ones that are present usually take a good while to do the job and that's IF they know how to do it.

I was so upset thought today when the lady at the personal banking refused to book an appointment with my financial advisor for my mother - something that I’ve done in the past with a breathe. What a shame. Love my financial advisor Brian though, he is a gem ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rarely leave reviews but this was honestly the worst banking experience I've ever had.
I just bought a house and was following the instructions provided by the brokerage to provide the security deposit. I brought a bank draft to this branch and asked them to deposit into the brokerage account and told the teller I wasn't a regular RBC client (I only had a credit card with RBC).
She immediately went into a rant about how RBC shouldn't have to do this and that I should drive to the brokerage to drop off the bank draft because I wasn't a regular client. (First of all, even if I wasn't a regular client, the brokerage was!).
She then refused to deposit the draft, saying that the account info was wrong. I called the agent and confirmed everything was correct. She still refused to do it and was ridiculously passive aggressive about it.
Funnily enough, another branch had no issue depositing the draft.

The worse service ever !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give it 0 I would have. A colossal waste of time. Went to the branch to make a simple deposit to my account in RBC to make a bank transfer within the same bank. Spend 4 hours getting myself verified for no reason and to be told that we cannot make the transfer in the first place. Called my other bank and took them about 10-15 mins and they were kind enough to make the deposit directly to the rbc account needed. Thanks for wasting my valuable time and providing the worst ever client experience in Canada. Please choose a different branch for your own mental state

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to numerous RBC branches and have received mixed receptions in them. However, none were so unwelcoming as this branch. Even if am to brush aside the unprofessionalism attitudes, as a person, is it too much to expect responses like “Good Morning” or “Thank you”? The Pandemic has affected us in many ways and small gestures give us hope - even though it may seem mundane.
