The only branch I deal with in Red Deer. Never had a negative experience in two years. Staff is friendly and professional. I'm usually in and out within 5 minutes. ATMs are convenient and accessible all the time.

I haven't had to step in an rbc for ten years. Nothing has changed. I understand why you can't cash a cheque from a major insurance company that works through your bank. No really I do. thanks for all the other options you put on the table for rectification of this matter as well! Which was a total of zero. love having to deal with rude horrible service after a drunk driver has written off my car. Keep up the rbc way! Hopefully won't ever have to deal with you again.

I had to deal with the Branch Manager due to a transactional dispute with another company and the support I received was incredible. The front staff were also friendly.

I went it to meet with one of their financial advisers to apply for a loan. Raelene met me and was going to help me with this. It was off to a rather sad start. She met with me and pretty much told me to come back in 3 months as I started anew job and she wanted to be sure that I am passed my probation period, even though I explained to her that I do not have any, as I am working as a temp agent on a one year contract. I did not want to argue so I waited 3 months. When I tried to book another appointment with Raelene directly she advised that I had to go online to do so, even though I already was emailing back and forth with her, which i thought is a rather poor system when it comes to customer service. But again, I did follow her instructions. So I went online , booked an appointment on a day that she was available. I received an email confirming my appointment, followed by an email form Raelene stating that she already has an appointment that day and time and if we can reschedule????? So again ... I went with that. I reschedule with her (suddenly she could do it via email). We agreed on a Thursday, when I received the email confirming the day she had booked it for was the wrong day, so we had to re-book it again. Very lengthy and painful process considering we could have just done it right the first time. So I come in on that Thursday which I had confirmed for her was the correct day and time. When I got there she came up to me to apologize, as she had booked me in for the following Thursday instead of the day I showed up .... despite the back and forth. Very frustrating. But she sat down with me for about 2 minutes to grab the paperwork she said she needed to process the application. I left the paperwork with her and left as her other customer was already waiting for his turn. Raelene proceeded to ask for an employment verification letter, along with proof of my rent payments, which I provided. She then started doubting the letter due to some miscommunication issues within my Temp agency. She called to verify the letter with the owner, who had confirmed that the letter had been tinkered with after he signed it, which I did not do!!! I send her a very long and personal email to explain what i think had happened, which was 100% the truth. Here is the part that I hate the most. Instead of coming to me and talk to me about, she LITERALLY FORWARDED THE ENTIRE EMAIL THREAD I SENT HER TO MY EMPLOYER. Which is such incorrect handling of private information. She did not rephrase, she did not mention, she took a private conversation between me and her to my employer. that is a big no go. She went through this just to get confirmed that indeed I did not have anything to do with the changes made to the letter he had sent out. She of course never mentioned this to me. I found out from employer that this happened. Needless to say I was very upset and felt very frustrated considering her service has been horrible from the beginning, but then she goes and does this. I called a 1-800 number to file an complaint against her as I know she was not allowed to do that. this is a privacy issue that needs to be talked about. The lady on the phone advised me to go online to file and complaint, which I tried just now and now they want me to go back to the branch. Very long story short.... RBC sucks! The service is the worst. I closed all my accounts as soon as the loan got through. I am going to pay this off as soon as possible so i have to never deal with them again. Horrible experience after being with a bank for a decade.

They very politely explained to me why they were denying me access to banking services for my business. I've ran my business for 15 years as a model citizen and always paid my taxes, yet they had very little interest in accommodating my small business needs and made me feel like a criminal.

I’m with rbc for 20 years. When you need the most from them to solve and problem they make it worst. And calling the number on the back of the card for help useless.

Horrible wait times whenever we go in there. Never more than 2 tellers on at any time we go in and need tellers services because they won't raise limits so we can access OUR OWN MONEY. "It's for your own security" they tell us but we do not want "their security" and we do not need a babysitter for our money. I hope banks go the way of the dinosaur soon!! Useless!! They produce nothing and simply take a cut of your money anytime you are forced to use digital credits instead of cash.

We went into the branch to make changes to our accounts, we were told we would be able to see the changes by Monday, by Wednesday the changes were still not complete so we called into customer service and they chatted with the lady that helped us and at that time we were told she "forgot" to make the changes and she would call us. Instead we received an unpleasant e mail from the lady denying she did anything wrong. I will never be using this branch again, absolutely the worst customer service we have ever received and no accountability taken.
