Incredible engineering feat. The suspension bridge provides epic landscape views from both sides of the Trent River. Don't recommend looking down when walking as that's when the fear of heights might sneak up on you. This would be a lovely place to come back to in the fall time to see the multitudes of tree colour shades. It's free to attend. Decent amount of parking spots when entering from Trent Dr. road. From the sounds of it not many not many know about this tourist spot outside of Campbellford. You can also enter the bridge from Ferris Provincial Park (there might be a fee) which has tons of paths and allows you to see the bridge from the other side as well as Ranney Falls.

Beautiful gorge. Might not spend much time if you go to only see the bridge n lookout. People even camp or picnic there. Trent Severn waterways is one unique pass for kayak, yatch, boats. They 3 levels and for every step the water level rises and doors open and the boats pass through. Eventually the roadway bridge rotates 180Β°and makes way for boat to pass the gorge. It was interesting to watch.

Short and easy trails here. You can have picnic, camp and play frisbees here. The view from the suspension bridge is great. It is ok to walk down and enjoy the shallow water. Around 2 hours’ drive from Toronto to this park. Great option for weekend family activities.

A great experience walking on the bridge with beautiful scenery one side and falls on other side. Free parking available on both sides. Remember, one side has trails to walk towards the bridge and has small park in between. Please visit our YouTube channel "Nupur & Chandrak" for exploring the location.

An awesome view from this bridge! If you like heights its perfect! Other wise it would be a little scary is the bridge moves and you can see through it the the river below !

Great family adventure for a hike along the Ranney Gorge Trail and across the Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge. About 100m long and 30m above the water - some slight bridge movement, but completely safe and secure (challenge the kids to find the dozen or so padlocks located on the bridge span). This would be awesome with the fall colours. Pack a picnic and wander the park.

Cool bridge, beautiful views on both directions. You can make this a quick stop by just checking out the bridge or longer if you add in a hike and picnic on the attached trails and picnic area in Ferris Conservation area. In the park there's a more rugged trail that follows the fenceline and has more scenic views or an easier trail that runs up higher but doesn't have the same views. Also a variety of trees are labeled in the area if you enjoy that type of thing.

The bridge is smaller than expected but gives nice views of the Trent River and Ranney Falls. It was quite busy at the time we visited so masks are recommended since it can be hard to social distance. The bridge sways when it’s windy and because there were a lot of people on the bridge so heads up if that’s something that would bother you. There’s limited parking but worth the visit for the views and walking trails at Ferris Provincial Park on the East side of the bridge.
