★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place, friendly atmosphere and competitive prices. However the inability to monitor what the mechanics are doing is a fail for me. Had an inspection done and after that I don't know what they monkeyed around with but now I'm having electrical issues. I'm sure I could bring it in and they could fix it for a price but my turn off is nothing was an issue prior to this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t ever go to this place, just a bunch of scabs who know nothing about fixing a vehicle, waited 2 weeks for my car to be fixed and they didn’t even use new parts or a new gasket just threw a ton of rtv on it, reused one use bolts and tried to seal them but they keep leaking and now I’ve taken the car back 3 times and they still keep trying to seal my timing covers improperly, I have never been so disgusted in my life by a place that claims to do “professional” work, I’d rather have had my 5 year old do the fkin job man

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, I recently bought a truck through house of cars on 17th Ave. I purchased the extra warranty which was definitely worth it. About a week in my truck started to leak oil and wipers would not spray fluid with enough pressure to hit the windshield. The warranty garage was this place rams auto.
I called them at 5PM on a Wednesday, they got my truck in same day. The owner called me that same night with a detailed description of what was wrong with my truck and parts needed for the fix. They fixed the oil leak first ( it was a bad seal at the oil pan and we had to wait for the new nozzles for the wipers untill Friday. By the time I was finished work Friday afternoon the truck was ready to go for the weekend.
10/10 for mechanical service and 10/10 for customer service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After my water pump failed I nearly damaged my engine very badly. Good Tire recommended that I go here right away to get my car taken care of right away.
When I arrived, the man at the front counter was very calm and polite. I think that is crucial as no one is going to be very happy when their car is decidedly dead.
He didn't take long to process my vehicle and told me that although replacing the water pump is a lot of work, they will get it back to me the same day!
After taking a quick peek into the shop area I can see why they can do this because they have a ton of hoists inside. They are ready for anything that comes their way.
When I got my car back, the bill was not abhorrent at all. It was fair and easy to understand. On the left side was the broken down cost for materials and on the right side was the breakdown of the labour costs. Easy, simple and understandable.
The one drawback is that it is a little put of the way and there is really not much around the building.
PRO TIP - Be prepared to take a taxi or Über as they don't have any loaner cars to provide you.
That is not the end of the world because they can get to your car so quickly that you are not really in a situation that you need a loaner car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BE VERY CAREFUL! They went from originally saying it would cost me around $500 to at the end charging me $1100. They will add on extra charges later for no real reason. And they can, since they can legally hold your vehicle from you. So be careful. Also they will offer towing as if it were free and then charge you $180 for a one way 15 min trip
