About Radical Diesel Repair Ltd.

RADICAL DIESEL REPAIR is a family run business. Kevin and Linda were both raised on family farms south of Lethbridge. Kevin is a Journeyman Heavy Duty Diesel Technician as well as a Journeyman Agriculture Technician. He has over 35 years of experience in diesels. His need for speed brought him to build a few race trucks, with his most recent a 1967 Chevy C10 tube chassis, 8 second truck. He joined NHRDA and raced in the US and Canada.

Our extremely qualified staff that we call family, consists of 4 Journeyman Technicians, Fabricators, Parts, Service and Office Staff. Our work family has many years of experience and provides superb customer service.

Not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive and I left feeling like I had been given trustworthy advice & services performed. Didnt try to hard-upsell anything which I value. Comfortable setting for while you wait service. I will definitely use again and without doubt would recommend to anyone looking for diesel specific service. Not sure but they likely work on gassers too. Thanks radical diesel team.

After taking it home i was not able to start my truck(never a problem before taking it here) i had called them a bunch of times over the next couple weeks and just got told they would call back soon.... a fuse that they checked was left unplugged after being mangled by pliers. The fuse has a bolt through the bottom that wasnt put back together. Check out Tonys auto repair or Krave if you want good work. After ignoring me for weeks they finally said they cant help with any work on a Hilux Surf.

I probably asked a million and one questions and they always gave me the time of day. I am extremely happy with the workmanship and how fast they turned around my van after I added a few jobs to their to do list after they had booked me in. I will definitely be back in the future. Prices were nearly identical to US Distributors such as Thuren Direct or CJC Offroad (remember to take into account the USD exchange rate, GST, duty, and shipping). Full rear leaf packs are extremely heavy and shipping is costly. Would highly recommend buying any Thuren or Carli components from here. I know I'll be back for a set of Carli Ball Joints.

I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. Just be aware going in that shop labour rates are very high, which is OK if you specifically need their diesel expertise. Owning a diesel is expensive. If I need their specific help again, I will probably go back.

Darius was a little reluctant at first to offer any help but eventually came around. After our long chat, and recording everything I was looking for he gave me his business card and said he would have a quote to me in a few days. Couple weeks later, I had still not heard back so I gave them a call. The lady I spoke with said he was busy and he would get back to me. Couple weeks later still haven’t t heard. Called back once again and was told he was still busy. Took my name, number once again and said they would get back to me. Waited another week and decided to give Kevin(owner) a quick call. I was provided with his voice mail. Left him a brief message with what type of experience I had received. Still waiting for a call back. I’ll bring my $20k in business elsewhere.
