★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in during code red COVID time, and not a single employee was wearing a mask properly; two had none, and the other had it under their chin. Disappointed. I figured the little independant shop would care more about their customers, not less.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the size, they've got a good selection of just about anything you might regularly need, from lighting and plumbing to paint and tools, but you won't find many instances of a single item. Also, their stock tends to vary often, so you might find one item you like and not be able to buy thay specific brand on a following visit.
The staff are usually helpful and nice. On one occasion, I've witnessed the owner offer to a couple that they borrow a not often needed tool instead of insisting they buy it. I'm not saying you should expect to get everything for free, but they are willing to be helpful to you if you are a client. It's also a shop that's very much needed in the neighborhood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly love this place and its vibes. The staff are friendly, helpful, and have never said anything to me about my overzealous paint chip collecting or poor French syntax, lol. Some things are a bit pricey, but hardware staples and gardening basics are very reasonable, as are services like key-cutting. I'm pretty sure the co-owners are lifelong besties, which is adorable and has solidified my commitment to shopping here ?
