If you want to get in trouble, you must buy the house from Kensington ( a Qualico company) “Wonderful” Choice! Trust me. Bought a home from Kensington one year ago. Finished landscaping and report to this “professional” administrative assistant Tammy Lyle. She told us you cannot get landscaping refund because the developer can not approved my landscaping. The City of Winnipeg is very strict to developer(Genstar). You must change your decorative rock(river stone) placed by the back lane to sod. I am questioning this requirement because there are 60 Homes with detached garage in my neighborhood and only 2 of them use sod to cover their back lane (both of them did not build garage). So I called 311 to ask is there any law from the city like this? And the answer from zoning and permits department told us they did not see any problem from your back lane. So I am asking Tammy Lyle do you have anything to prove that my landscaping was not approved by Genstar based on what kind of reason. She did not show me and keep saying I told you the reason. And then I showed her the email history from city of Winnipeg to prove my landscaping was fine. She was telling me to call 311. Is that funny? Called the developer Genstar. People who in charge of my neighborhood said he never send anything to Kensington to reject my landscaping and they do not care what kind of material for my back lane.That is why Tammy Lyle never showed me anything after I asked letter or email history from Genstar for couple times. Because IT IS A LIE! My neighbor was using limestone ( not approved material in their landscaping requirements) to cover their back lane and get full refund. Funny thing is we are from same builder(Qualico) and same developer (Genstar). Now, Tammy Lyle is too “busy”to answer my phone call( called 5 times and left 3 voicemail) , no response. contacted Winnipeg Police to report this scam issue from this builder. If you still want to buy a home from this builder,please go ahead and good luck with it!

Worst builder in Canada !!! No customer service!!! No integrity for customers !!!! Postpone finish my house HALF YEAR and not give us any excuse. And I called Qualico ask is there any problem for my house. Unbelievable this thing was happened! A manager from Qualico answered a question and I keep ask why my house postpone, she was YELLED AT ME and say just wait !!!! Seriously , is any company treat costumer like that? I think they treat customers differently and I think those company have racial discrimination. NEVER BUY ANY HOUSE FROM QUALICO HOME !!!!!!!!!

Never buy home from qualico broadview. I did big mistake in my life. After possession they never pickup phone always on voice message. No one call back. There are lot of issues in my house. i adviced to those people who want to purchase house. Please never buy from qualico broadview.

Qualico added $3000 onto our bill for permits that were already covered in the base price of the house. They did this 10 days before our possession date, and then sent the documents to their lawyer without informing us of this new charge. They are now refusing to deal with us, and insist we must talk to their lawyer (who is on vacation). If we don't pay this unfounded charge, we will not be able to move in on our possession date. They also raised the price of our lot by $20k the day AFTER they had us sign a paper agreeing to pay a different amount. Our sales rep fed us lies and made up answers to questions we asked of him. Because of him, we believed we would be getting a GST rebate of $9000, when in reality we did not qualify for a rebate at all. This was a sales ploy to encourage us to spend more money on house upgrades. We have many other complaints about our experience building with them, mostly relating to their extremely poor communication standards, but I won't list them here. If you are considering Qualico as a builder, I would STRONGLY urge you to look into other options. Qualico employs very shady business practices to squeeze every dollar they think they can from you. The sales reps will outright lie to you in order to make a sale, and Qualico will refuse to take any responsibility for what their reps say.

I was going to buy a property off them a condo townhouse via street side but after reading all this NO THANKS a company that can’t even be bothered responding to such complaints is of no use!!!

If I can give 0 star, I will. Don't buy house from this builder or some builders under it. The material is very cheap; the warranty does not really exist. If there is some issue, they will come to see, just come to see. and make another time to come to see, again and again until the warranty expired. They did this for my house. For one issue, they came to my house over 10 times. Really just cam to see. The problem is still there. We wasted our 15 days to wait for them at home.

We bought from Qualico 17 years ago. They cut corners on everything. Just posting now, as we are redoing the flooring. Terrible workmanship. They used whatever boards they had lying around. They used buffalo board in the bathrooms. You can imagine what it is left of that. It was actually our second home from them. Both were sub standard. Never again would I use them. The only quality is in half their name. Buyer beware.

Built a house with them ten yrs ago. The corners they cut. From improper size HRV unit for the size of my house. The fact that one room doesn't have enough floor vents and is freezing in winter and boiling in summer. Un useable... The shotty finish work. My garage door has 3 different size hinges and the trim work is disgusting . Stay away from Qualico. I will of I ever build again.
