β β β β β This place is the best flower shop in town! I have probably used them 6-10 times and they are so easy and helpful to deal with over the phone. As a guy who is frequently buying flowers but still knows nothing about them, they are always willing to come up with ideas and suggestions. Delivery service is great too. To the guy who was complaining about price and flowers dying after a week...that's what flowers do you dummy! Don't be a cheapskate and support a local business instead of buying low quality flowers at safeway or some other mega corporation.

β β β β β I called from Oakville, Ontario to send flowers to my sister in Calgary. Wow, they did an awesome job of designing an exotic Christmas arrangement, My sister gives them 12 our of 10.... She said they were stunning and stately and they made her very very happy. I would never go anywhere else. They are first class and have amazing designers, Debbie that really listen to you and execute your vision. I cannot thank you and Nancy enough. Forever grateful as this is a sad time of year for our family. You have touched my heart. Merry Christmas. I give them 5 stars.

β β β β β Called them on a Friday afternoon and asked to have flowers delivered to my gf's office since she was having a bad day. Her office is about a block away from Purple Orchid. They said it wasn't a problem and they would run them over. My gf called me literally 10 minutes later, they had already delivered them and they were beautiful. Great service!

β β β β β I have had the opportunity to work with the staff at Purple Orchid and have been extremely pleased with their service. The owner, Nancy, even took time to drive over to my home (pre-Covid) to arrange my orchids beautifully. The orchids are healthy and the centre piece on our kitchen island. They are flowering to this day and are beautiful! If youβre looking for orchids to accent your home, this is the place to go! You wonβt be disappointed.

It was a no brainer when it came to deciding who would create my wedding bouquet and 2 boutonnieres. She took my few photos and created 3 beautiful pieces! We look forward to continuing to support her shop in the upcoming years!

β β β β β I asked Nancy to create a bouquet, and I provided some guidelines and some limits from artistic perspective. The budget I originally provided was surpassed, however, after the bouquet was delivered, once I saw it, I felt that I didn't pay enough. Despite the limits I posed, Nancy went over and above. Thank you Purple Orchid!

β β β β β Really very overpriced in my opinion- paid almost $40 for a mug-sized bouquet of tulips and a single rose with a branch of foliage.
The florist didn't seem to hear my request to include sweet peas in the bouquet, instead going straight for tulips. Their machine was down, so I had to come back the next day to pay. I was asked for $34 to cover the small bouquet of tulips and the rose, but when I came to pay, I was asked to pay over $38. They don't make the pricing very transparent or obvious. Both times I was there, I was in a hurry and didn't have it in me to argue.
Perhaps the flowers are high quality, however, the price doesn't seem to match up and the professionalism is questionable at this point.

β β β β β Let's just say $120 for 2 Lily branches with a bit of foliage and a few purple flowers is a complete rip off.
My husband ordered a happy bouquet for our anniversary and got something that I would choose for a funeral. They even made him go back home to bring our vase so they can arrange flowers.
If their goal is to reduce number of customers they are on the right track.
