PULSE Boot Lab & Ski Co. Revelstoke

I suffered from brutal bones spurs for years, and was about to switch to snowboarding purely for the boots. Came into pulse and they fitted me with a whole new set up that saved my feet. Within a few months, still riding most days, the bone spurs went down, and I could finally enjoy skiing again. Fantastic product, great, knowledgeable staff. Can’t thank them enough!

The short of it, Pulse Boot Lab is awesome and if you are in need of a new boot or work done on an old one I highly recommend going to see the folks at Pulse. I have seen a number of boot fitters over the years. I have narrow, challenging feet to fit into the ski boot. I have even had boot fitters tell me that I will never find a ski boot for me. Heartbreaking news. I was a ski instructor for 5 season and am kicking off my 3rd year on patrol. I spend over 100 days in my alpine boots alone, 5 days per week, 9 hours per day. I need a boot that I can wear all day and I want a boot that performs. I have had one boot fitter in my past who was truly incredible. She understood the importance of mm's in the fit of a boot and understood my needs and values as someone who works in ski boots. She lives in Colorado. I live in Alberta now. I have been looking (all over Western Canada) for someone similar. I stopped in to talk to Kai and Matt on a whim. I had given up on finding someone great to work with. I initially went in to talk about my touring boots. I was inquiring about thermal liners and they directed me towards a foot bed - a less expensive option I will note. Very cool. The next day my partner and I both ended up purchasing new alpine boots/liners/foot beds from Pulse. The guys used similar techniques as my beloved boot fitter from Colorado. We worked with Kai and Matt over several days. I greatly appreciated the time they were willing to spend with us to make sure they got it right. They are quality people who care about skiers. They get it. While we haven't gotten out on snow in our new boots just yet, we are feeling optimistic about the season. I feel confident that the guys at Pulse will help us with any boot fitting necessary along the way. They treat boot fitting as a craft and are well-worth the drive!

Genuinely amazing. I was considering quitting ski touring but they changed the game for me. I won’t buy a boot or adjust a boot anywhere else again. Thank you!

Friends, Sunday at 3 pm is not the time of day you expect you receive “moment of Truth” customer service. Yet, that’s exactly what happened. On hour 2 of day 1 of my 3 day Revey ski experience, I realize my boots and scarred shin could not coexist. I had a shin wound from 3 weeks prior, delivered in Costa Rica. Knowing my “ski trip bucket list” was on the line I resolved to power through any issues. After 3 runs at RMR, I had searing hot butter knife pain on my left shin. In desperation, I searched everywhere that I could think to find a solution. A random referral from a RMR Ski patrol led me to Pulse Labs. I walked in unannounced a 3 Pm on a Sunday with a career limiting ski problem. I left less than an hour later, with a custom orthotic type shin brace that proved to be exactly what was need to get through the next 2 days of mountain powder of K3 cat skiing. I cannot state strongly enough the wonderful, compassionate service I received from Bryn to custom build a leg pad around my inflamed shin gash. It not only proved the relief I needed, but his help and support was instrumental in me deciding that Revy is the ONLY ski town to which I will return. The vibe of the mountain, the town, the people & Pulse…such an amazing convergence of happenstance. Thank you and bless you all.

Was just passing through, walked in with my own boots and two hours later walked out with the same boots but totally new fit and a new lease on ski life. What a difference! Thrilled with the result. The overall store experience of attentive customer service, and clear explanations and choices was fantastic. The result is a game changer for me. I would recommend Pulse Boot Lab to anyone who spends time during a ski day noticing their feet. Bravo
