★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little hike! We saw lots of different reviews on the difficulty of this hike. I would call it a moderate hike. But the steepness is not as extreme as I've read. We hiked with two 4 year olds and two 7 year olds. All did great. I've included some pics of the actual trail (as there is plenty of the view from the top)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good challenging hike but not too overwhelming. They supply walking poles at the base of the trail for the tourists...we used them anyway. About a 45min hike up with multiple trails available based on difficulty level. The view at the top really is worth it. A must do when visiting Nelson!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're from town you've probably hiked this. If you're not and you visit you definitely should. The views looking south to the city are incredible. Be cautioned, it is steap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great easy hike with fabulous views from the top. Path is gravelly so make sure you have good treads on your shoes. Couple of benches on top make for a wonderful picnic with a view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just went up to Pulpit Rock main hike. Took me 50 mins up with about 6 breaks along the way ( Apparently I'm out of shape ? Lol) Ran down in 25mins . This was my second hike ever other than Windy Peaks in Canmore , so was challenging . The views were a great reward along with the chipmunks ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous viewpoint of Nelson. Similar to the Grouse Grind. Took about 36min to get to the top. Near the end of the hike, there are two path options: Easy or More Difficult. We went with the Easy trail.
There were a couple of benches there and lots of different spots to chill and look at the scenery. Spent about 30min there before coming down, which took almost as long, but I have bad knees. Parking along the side of the road. Wasn’t crowded when we went on a Monday evening. Would factor about 1.5 hours for the whole hike and chill time up top. Would recommend going for beers after at Backroads or Torchlight.
