★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This rest area is spartan, but clean. There are washrooms and a rest and warming area in the main building. Payphone is available, but it was out of service when I stopped; perhaps due to bad weather. Cell service was available (Rogers and Telus) though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is at perfect location from Merritt. There is no bathroom until Hope, which is still an hour away, so make sure you stop by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is plenty of parking here, and a good amount of toilets. Google maps did send us to the northbound public washrooms rather than the southbound, so do be aware of that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Travelling home from Kamloops and needed a break from driving. Although the washrooms are a little worn it is wonderful to have a place to take a break. Relatively easy to get off the highway and there is plenty of parking near the washrooms. Lots of people stopping so I never feel nervous. The nearby mountains are so lovely still covered in snow that I just like to look around and enjoy the scenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty clean for a washroom in the middle of nowhere. Since they have closed the Merritt rest stop, a good place to stop before Hope if you are coming from Kelowna.
