Everything is closed currently (washrooms) and there are no services (snack bar isn't there). Only thing available is portaloos. We usually stop here to stretch our legs and let the dog have a bathroom break.

Great place to rest and relieve. And if you need a phone here you go. I’m pretty sure there is cell service but this (pay phone)made me laugh as my kids didn’t know what it was. It smells a bit like a dog kennel but I imagine that is due to the amount of people who come through here. Overall a good safe spot to stop along the highway.

Pretty good as far as rest stops go. It's easy to get an RV in and out of. There are charging stations and sometimes a food truck. Wi-Fi too.

Super spacious rest stop. Picnic tables and lots of trash/recycle recepticles around. Clean washrooms with working hand dryers and sinks. There are 2 EV chargers also. During the day there is actual food sold also. There's signs around saying no camping/sleeping overnight though.

Great place to stop summer or winter for a break! There is often a food truck there during summer months!

This rest stop is actually a worthwhile place to stop during any trip on the Coquihalla. The rest stop itself is large, well laid out, with permanent, non-outhouse bathrooms, and a street food vendor with great smokies. As a bonus (the reason we were there this time) there's an easy, 7km walk from the rest stop to Bridal Veil Falls. A pretty spectacular falls that looks like its source is the highway itself, the falls cascade down over the train track and twisted trestle from the old KVR. The walk is very easy, and there's opportunity to play in the creek alongside the road which prohibits vehicles, so it's also safe. Walk from the rest area west across the entrance to the rest area to the older paved road running parallel to the Coq. Follow that road (which does allow vehicles so be careful) to the bright yellow gate. Go over (or under or around) the gate, and the falls are an easy 6km walk from there. Watch your GPS (or listen really carefully) because you could walk right past the falls if you aren't looking for it. A very lovely day hike with lunch by the creek. Someone else could do it in a couple of hours no problem, so don't be put off by our timing - we sauntered. Better photos and more detailed instructions can be found in the ALLTRAILS app.

Positioned exactly between Hope and Merrit. This rest area has it all. A food truck! Charging stations for EV’s. Free WiFi by Telus ( You will have to provide your email address for it to work ). The connection speed avg 10-25 MP. There are picnic tables, washrooms, and information boards. Whether it’s a quick stop or a longer one. This rest area has you covered. Hope you find the info helpful.

Rest stop that has it all in a picturesque location. Full service washroom facilities that are clean and well lit. There is a food truck here also. Lots of parking available. There are picnic tables and benches available. The stop is positioned nicely between Hope and Merrit. It’s definitely one of the better stops along the Coquihalla highway ?. There are other features available like electrical charging station for EVs. There is also interesting information boards about the Coquihalla pass and other areas. My wife and I enjoyed this stop.
