★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't realize this small little park area was in Acton. Lovely place for a picnic. Enjoyed the scenic inland lake. Will visit again for sure. Worth the drive to Acton! Lol!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's very small, but nice. The 3 out of 5 is simply due to its size. You'll walk the entire park in 10 mins. Across the lake is the Canadian Legion with the awesome military equipment one can actually walk up to (tank, jet etc...)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, large, multi use park. We stumbled across it when our on a drive and needing somewhere to let our dog run and have a car break.
Beautiful pathway around the water, lots of sports diamonds, a beachfront, and a spot to canoe or kayak from.
The dog park was large, clean and well maintained with friendly dogs and people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prospect is a fantastic park. It's a great place to bring your dog, and the mature trees provide shade for you and your dog. It also has a play area for kids.
My only issue is the number of mosquitoes. Make sure you're wearing bug spray, and your dog has something like Advantix to ward off mosquito bites. Dogs get bit just as much as humans do, so make sure you are both covered with protection. Mosquitoes are a lot more here because of the lake.
The lake is gorgeous, and it's a very active lake with people fishing both from land and boats in the water. I would not let my dog swim in the lake because of the pollution and bacteria.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a small quite place, good for evening walk or run or bike ride. Nice playground for kids with zip line. I saw lot of people fishing and boating in the lake too. Overall nice little oasis for weekday break.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely spot for families to spend time at the park. We went for a paddle around the lake. There is a great dock with an accessible kayak launch. The lake has a lot of lily pads though so one whole end isn't easily paddled.
