Very chill hike. The biggest loop takes sometime to complete but the other 2 are pretty short. Once you get in, go left and you will get to the beautiful rock formations.

This is by far one of our favourite places to hike. It is so beautiful. The area offers lots of trails, caves, streams, and ancient ruins. Highly recommend this one ☝️

A nice place for a short hike, no more than 4km loop depending on which route you take. Plenty of exposed tree roots along the path makes it interesting. The hole in the wall part of the trail was kinda cool - yes, you have to go through a short, natural tunnel in the rocks, either before if after a ladder climb (depending on which way you go). It's not that apparent there's a path there, but there is. Look for the white trail markers on the rocks. Plenty of free parking at the trail head. No reservations required. We were here on a cool Friday morning and it was empty!

Some parts of the trails were closed due to safety issues: fallen trees and wet rocks are not a good combo. But I love hiking there. Not too crowded at this time of the day

Public carpark at Limehouse Conservation Area is big enough for some 20 cars or so. Free parking. Leading from the park is a trail to the hole in wall which is a gorgeous corridor of caves and crevices typical of the Escarpment formation. Perfect for adventurous hikers. Some areas are very narrow and caution is required while climbing down or up or crawling through the cracks. Very spectacular. Not too difficult a trail for hikers. Have to be careful about the icy and rocky grounds.

Awesome place. Historical significance. Hiking Trails with various levels of challenge. Multiple access points from 5th Line. Frequent sighting of Blue Jay. Close encounters with Chipmunks. Beautiful terrain. Ladder takes down the crevices. Kiln ruins from 1850s!!! Parking lot fills quickly

All hikers need to be sure footed, you can bring kids but they need to be able to manage rough terrain. Not a stroller friendly path. The majority of dogs will be unable to navigate the ladder on the purple path so you need to be able to carry them or avoid this way. Otherwise it is an interesting trail with no admission price and free parking.

A beautiful hike amongst limestone cliffs. We took the Bruce trail and the black creek side trail and spent 2.5 hours exploring the area. Wear comfortable shoes and watch wear you step as there are many rocks and roots on the pathway. Keep your eyed out for wildlife, we saw fish, snakes, many birds and a fox. I would definitely come back to see this trail with more greenery later this season.
