Great company, great employees, lots of work.

Proactive was experienced and knew what they where doing. When quoted by other companies, proactive came in thousands less and more confident at the job at hand. Showed up when they said they would and completed the asbestos abatement on time and budget.

The gentleman I spoke with, when first in contact with this compan, was very knowledgeable and friendly. If it was only him I had interacted with than I would gladly give this company 5 stars. However the interaction between my wife, myself and the crew that was sent out was less than pleasant. The foreman on the crew was extremely rude and went so far as to ignore my wife and I, he was too busy on his phone or singing while he walked around our house, while his crew seemed to do all of the work. When he did speak to us, all of one time before we left, his tone was quite rude And condescending. Out of the 3 crew members sent to our house only 1 spoke to us briefly. I understand there is a job to be done but it is extremely difficult to feel confident leaving the care of your house to people who can’t even take the time to learn your name before they get to your front door or take five minutes to answer any questions you may have or go over any details with you. Although I was nervous about leaving we had no choice. I left a spare key with the cell phone numbers of both my wife and I and then we left. I was a bit put off that I had to contact someone at the head offices to find out if the job was complete on the last of the days that was quoted to complete the job. We were informed that we could return home. I was once again very disappointed by this crew upon arriving at our house. The front door had been locked improperly but thankfully it seems as though no one had been able/or tired to enter our home. When we got in there was some miscellaneous garbage in the main area as well the crew couldn’t be bothered to replace a single closet door, the only one to be done in the whole house. I really wish our overall experience had been better. Especially regarding customer service for this line of work. The company itself seems okay, but their workers(at least the ones we had) leave a lot to be desired.
