Pro Trac Gear has been in the driveline industry since 2002, selling, servicing, repairing and custom-building Differentials, Transmissions and Transfer Cases for all makes and models.
Our team is skilled and knowledgeable and is dedicated to excellence, service and client satisfaction.
We can handle just about anything all the way from your off-road vehicle, diesel performance automatics or muscle car right up to the family automobile.
Our process is systematic and begins with a complete teardown of each unit. Only after each original part has been cleaned and passed an inspection will it be reused. If the original part does not pass the inspection, a new part will be substituted.
We have a complete inventory of new and re-manufactured units and parts for purchase. All re-manufactured parts are inspected, cleaned and packaged.
All units come with a One-Year/Unlimited Mileage warranty

He takes the time to explain and or even show me the problem. Today, he spent over an hour to diagnose my vehicle while I waited; free of charge. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 started to make a whistling noise at around 30km or so. I changed a rear wheel bearing that was worn hoping that was it. Nope, still there. After using my engine ear I thought the sound could possibly be coming from the Transfer case or Transmission. Took it to Pro Trac Gear for diagnosis. They checked the transfer case and diff with no signs or issues. Then they pulled the rear axles for examination. No wear and the bearings were good. Everything checked out fine. Not sure how many hours they worked on my truck, but when I came to get it they didn't charge me a dime. That's pretty rare now a days. Best guess they figure it's the Fierce Attitude tires that are down to 25% or so making the noise. In any case, they eliminated some drive train possibilities for free !! Thanks Martin and crew, much Appreciated. You've earned my respect and future business. Will definitely recommend to anyone in need

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very helpful guys. I had my transmission rebuilt and the transfer case by another mechanic, unfortunately he had missed some tightening of some things during the reinstall. I soon found out that he had brought the actual transmission and transfer case into here for the rebuild. Two days pass and I noticed puddles beneath my truck. Brought the truck into this place and they promptly refilled my transfer case and checked over the install and repaired another leak. Didn't charge me a dime and had it done inside an hour. Highly recommend. Professional and thorough and caught mistakes made by another shop. Put my mind at ease. Thanks for the help!!
