The work was excellent and I am so delighted that these pieces can now take pride of place in my living room. I would get more work done here in a heartbeat. These are not bargain basement prices, but you most definitely get what you pay for--fantastic service and craftsmanship!

They outsource the painting to a gentlemen who is very accommodating. He used milk paint at our request even though he doesn't normally work with it. He checked in frequently and shared pictures of the piece at various stages of the painting to ensure we were happy with the direction and that it was in keeping with our vision. The upholstery work is very well done as well!

My chair turned out better than I ever could have hoped for. It is absolutely beautiful and makes me happy every day.Everything about my experience with Princess Perfect was amazing and smooth. I emailed Lisa Jo a picture of the chair and she was able to give me a quote via email (the final price came in under the quote). When I went to the store to pick a fabric, I found that she had every swatch under the sun available to choose from. She quickly grasped my vision for the chair and narrowed in on the right swatch books to help me realize it. Everyone I interacted with at Princess Perfect was lovely, positive, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They also picked up and delivered the chair for me, a huge bonus.A few months later, my parents brought Lisa Jo a chair that had belonged to my great grandmother and asked her to redo it to match (it was my birthday present). I'm sure Lisa Jo has a lot of clients so I thought it was remarkable that she was able to remember me and my fabric to help my parents! That chair also turned out wonderfully and my parents commented on the great experience they had.I would not hesitate to recommend Lisa Jo and the team at Princess Perfect. In fact, I highly recommend it.

Everyone at the shop was friendly and professional. I was confident that the finished product would be exactly what I wanted and they were! I love old pieces with a story and character and so for me, I only want the best working on them. Aside from being amazing at upholstering, Lisa Jo has fantastic taste and has helped me SO much with both picking the right look/fabric for pieces AND has even helped me tremendously with where to get fabric. They've even helped me figure out how to upholster some simple dining chairs on my own! On top of that, I had a chair done by them 3 years ago and they used a side of the fabric that wasn't what we wanted (which side we wanted was not discussed) and she turned the fabric around for us at no extra charge! And the chairs looked AMAZING! Basically, if you want QUALITY work, they are the best! If you're looking to reupholster because you were going to 'save' money, you obviously haven't done your homework, nor do you understand the costs of labour etc. You need to own a business to appreciate and truly know about the costs involved. So if you're hoping to save money, DO NOT reupholster!! Yes, it is cheaper to buy new 'cheap' furniture. But it'll likely cost you just as much to buy a well-made, high quality piece of furniture. So again, if you're looking for quality, amazing service, helpfulness and someone with fantastic taste, in my opinion, they are the best in town! It's a shame reading some of these other negative reviews, because I didn't have that experience at all and quite the opposite actually!

With limited space, did it even make sense to keep it? Lisa Jo and team completely rejuvenated it, frame repaired, springs and padding improved, and of course wonderful tufted new upholstery. We enjoy using it daily, it is newly comfortable and looks fabulous. Not cheap, but great work, and turned around very quickly once our turn came up.
