★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, wow, wow...the customer service at this location exceeds anything I've ever witnessed. My battery had died and CAA came and jumped me. After this, I could not turn off my car and had to track down a battery with all these lockdowns and curbside pick up. It felt impossible to find what I needed as I dont know anything about cars. Princess Auto actually sent out two employees to look at my battery, locate the correct one AND THEN OFFERED TO CHANGE IT FOR ME!! Being a woman with no clue on what I was doing, Trent and Kevin were a god send!! They helped me figure everything out and made me feel very safe and taken care of.
I couldn't be more thankful and happy with the service I was given.
Forever grateful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ + Great store, lots of tools and parts. - The organization is a bit random, you often have to do a lot of walking to find the part you need. I pretty much have the layout of my "home" store in Kingston memorized, but the Owen Sound location is completely different. + The prices are generally good and sometimes excellent; for big-ticket items it is often worth asking what the last on-sale price was, they will often let you have it at the last (within three months) sale price. This can often save you 25 or 30%.

As with so many businesses Co-vid
prevented us from operating leaving us with no income and an enormous amount of inventory. I spoke with Jodi, Manager of the Owen Sound store. He made arrangements for me to return as
much product as I wished for a full refund. Both Jodi and Ellie his assistant went out of their way to receive and restock product. Please let management know that they went over and above anything
we could have ever expected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store took me a little time to get used to. The inventory includes farm items (e.g.hydraulic rams,farm jacks), shop tools (ratchets/sockets), a few woodworking tools (gluing clamps), automotive parts, etc. You can find a pretty large selection of pneumatic tools as well - and here is where it took a bit of looking around the store to understand the layout. Air tools are in a separate section - not exactly automotive, not farm. Gluing clamps and found in a section mostly devoted to automotive tools. My point is that it's just not laid-out like your typical Canadian Tire store and takes a little getting used to.
Once you get some experience with the store you appreciate the extensive stock and availability of items you don't see elsewhere. Air hose for example; many different lengths, composition types, diameters, prices. Same with cargo straps- more types than Can Tire. Farm hydraulics, tractor seats, repair parts for implements - right into garden tools and hoses.
Store seems a little under-staffed, but they are helpful and friendly and will really try to help you get what you need. Be aware that some of the brand names will be unfamiliar to you - I'm pretty sure a lot of it is Chinese in origin - knock-offs.
