I can’t say enough about the Princess Animal Hospital. Our 9 month old lab gave us quite the scare when he would not walk and had a significant limp. We just moved to Kingston and did not have a vet picked yet. We called and had an appointment 2 hours later. The service we received was excellent. Dr Caudle and Michelle were fantastic. They were caring and handled my pup with such care and made him feel safe. It is very clear that the animals health and comfort are top priority. I did not feel pressured or pushed into any unnecessary service, medication, etc. I was asked if I was comfortable with each medication and recommendation and the price (which was very reasonable). All my questions were answered and everything was explained in great detail. The team provided one of the best vet experiences I have had. I am so pleased our pup is on the mend and recovering quickly. We will be coming back for all our veterinarian needs. Thank you! 10/10

Thank you to the staff who was working feb 20. Unfortually i didnt catch the name of the tech or the vet who helped us. My husband and I took our sick dog here to say goodbye. When we arrived we had to call and were told there was a bit of a wait time and to wait in the car. At first i was a little upset about this since we called ahead but because it is a first come first serve animal hospital i understand. And the wait time wasnt horrible. It was a blessing because it allowed me more time to spend with my dog. When it was our turn the vet explained the process and answered all of our questions. I was worried because of Covid that we werent going to be allowed in with him. The staff was very understanding and caring about our sitution. They allowed us to come in the clinic and be with our dog in his final moments. They allowed us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. Thank you again.

Giving a heads up about this clinic: approximately two months ago, we had our cat feeling bad and in spite of one of our friends’ recommendations against the clinic, given that it was the only option at that time, we went ahead to be seen. Our cat was taken inside to be examined and although we provided quite a few details of what was going on, they kept asking us the same questions. At that point, we felt they were not very interested in hearing our concerns. We listened to their explanation and bought all the medications and ran the tests they requested (which, by the way, are not cheap). The staff showed various times a lack of empathy and were rude when we were trying to understand the order of medication administration. After taking our cat home, we called to ask another question about the meds and were told a vet would be consulted, but we never heard back from them about this. Luckily, we were able to take our cat to our regular vet who was surprised to see the medications given and the uncertainty regarding the diagnosis PAH expressed even when prescribing treatment. There was a delay in the correct diagnosis and they made us feel like the only thing they cared about was money. We are definitely very disappointed and we are unsure why they are running a clinic when animal care is clearly not their priority. I wonder if the staff treat their pets with the disinterest they demonstrated when trying to treat ours. Stay away if you can.

One of the best Clinics I've ever been to. We came in out of town and the staff was beyond courteous to help. The clinic didn't go for the cash grab of adding extra appointments prior to the surgery, didn't push unnecessary procedures. We are beyond pleased with this clinic. Highly recommended it. Thank you for being so kind and professional and accommodating. Much appreciated.

The team at this emergency vet is responsive and patient and overall very sweet and comforting. Dr.Rose saw my little dog after he got a bite, and she was very kind to explain everything about the injury and treatment to me. The entire staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with despite the stress behind our visit! Would definitely recommend.

This clinic clearly prioritizes making money over caring for pets. My puppy was not given a concrete diagnosis and the cost of things was never discussed until I was given the machine. Moreover, the wait was ridiculous. I was in the parking lot for 4+ hours with a sick puppy and they knew this. While I understand the concept of triage, we weren’t even given an estimate of how long we would need to be there and they take you out of the queue as soon as you leave the parking lot. Keep in mind this happens in the winter at night with negative temperatures. They also don’t let you or your pet go inside. I’ve been to other clinics that at least take the pet inside to watch them and provide you with some sense of comfort while you wait for the vet to see them. Other clinics still have allowed me to be in the room during the physical examination. COVID-19 protocols are used as the explanation for this, but I also saw a tech talk to another owner who was not wearing a mask and there was no distancing, so how careful are they really being? Are they just using COVID-19 to prevent having owners inside and seeing what they do with our pets? Consider yourself lucky if you can properly talk to a vet and actually get in touch with them again if you have follow-up questions.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Princess Animal Hospital. I called them as my elderly cat was in severe respiratory distress- they said to bring him right in. From the moment I pulled up the staff were very kind, caring, knowledgeable and professional. It was decided that euthanasia was the best approach to care to end my pets suffering, and the whole process was handled with the utmost care and empathy. You can tell the staff here truly care about and love their jobs. I would highly recommend trusting them with your furry loved ones. Thank you for your care!

I am very happy with the care and service that was provided for my rabbit. My most recent visit was for his neutering. I really appreciated that the team communicated with us immediately after his surgery, to give us peace of mind. Post opt instructions / info was communicated great. I also received two calls from the clinic the next day for follow up. I overall had a great experience with this clinic and found the team to be very knowledgeable, friendly and very supportive during the process :)
