Only one hiking trail on the West side of Prince Albert National Park. It's around 40km if you do the big loop. Saw lots of traces of Buffalo but no actual buffalo here. The outhouses were not open. But the trail was in relatively good condition.

Took a hardtail MTB and road the “Difficult Loop” Bumped into a friendly ranger entering the park. The trails are not specifically maintained for cycling but are multi-use,clearly mostly used as hiking and horse trails. Cycling the trail was fun despite the wet conditions I encountered, I felt my 120mm front suspension was sufficient on the marked trails, there are a few potential hike a bike sections but I stayed mostly in the saddle. Not sure if the wilderness trails are appropriate for cycling. Beautiful scenery and wildlife viewing. Saw a single Bison from close range on the lower carriage trail and a herd from afar on the lake trail, which is a short and worthwhile detour. Look for trail side wild raspberries in the summer.
