Cypress Hills has an eco system different from the surrounding areas. It’s beautiful with forests and lakes, and dark night skies! There are excellent services, and activities like swimming, horseback riding, mini golf, and an observatory with a big telescope. Two ice cream shops in the park are mandatory stops!

We spent the weekend camping here and it was a blast. We walked and biked the trails, walked down to get ice cream exploring the lake on the way. We didn't try the mini golf and the pool wasn't open yet and not sure when it will be due to Covid. Next time we would like to try the restaurants. There is also the zipline park here that looked amazing. The park is very clean and well looked after. We saw park rangers and park employees everyday multiple times driving around and talking to people. We saw moose, deer, frogs, geese, tons of birds in the few days we stayed.

This is my 2nd time visiting cypress hills. We camped in centre block in the meadows campground this time and I wasn't impressed with the campsite. It was basically an open field with rv sites. The first time I camped here, we stayed in an incredible campground surrounded by lodge poles. I wouldn't camp here again unless I could get the same campground as the first one. Points of interest: sunset at Lookout point and Blad butte have amazing views. Both areas require driving up some dodgy roads and bald butte is a short hike up a Lil trail. Bring good shoes!

A beautiful park with much to do. There are a few activities to keep kids and adults engaged including the zip lining and seg way tour. The seg way tour was really fun and we learnt some interesting info for our guide. The area is beautiful and one must see the cliffs. There are lots of hikes from all levels of skill. Fort Walsh is worth seeing to gain an appreciation of how easy we live nowadays. Campsites and facilities are nice. One note: lodgepole pine have their pines up high so there is little privacy between campsites. Otherwise, this area is great. There are plenty of dining options and the general store has lots of goods incase you forgot even the most obvious such as food.

First time at Cypress Hills this year. It's a fantastic park. Would recommend at least 4 nights stay to take everything in. Washrooms were very clean, including the odd outhouse building. Nice warm showers you don't have to pay for and free campfire wood. Hiking trails are very well groomed. All employees in the park were very friendly. Hardly any tree coverage in the Meadows campground, would highly recommend selecting a site on the outer edge. Water craft rentals are very reasonably priced and enjoyable.
