If you get a recommendation to go here try to get somewhere else where they treat you're a human being

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New to Alberta from Manitoba and this is my first medical office experience.
First thing I noticed when making the appointment was reception didn't ask what the appointment was for. Second, when I arrived a nurse didn't do a blood pressure check, which always happened in Manitoba.
When Dr. Kiltz arrived, he appeared in casual wear not a white coat. After explaining I need help to sleep before big events in my life, his answer was "hit the gym!" I explained I excercise in the morning, I don't have a gym pass and I've tried excercising before bed and it doesn't work; his response was "hit the gym harder!" Upon leaving, I extended a handshake and he responded by crushing my hand!? That's the second worst handshake in the business world, the first being the loose "I don't want to touch you" handshake.
To be fair, he prescribed me a non-addictive sleep-aid, which the Superstore Pharmacy only had 10 of the prescribed 30. The office was clean and modern. Everyone seemed to stay on task and appear efficient.
I'll be looking to other clinics for future situations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been a patient of Dr. Quek for a long time. I've also been a patient of the Copeman Clinic (which is semi private and costs 5k a year for membership dues plus payment for any further service you wish to utilize). I have also been through the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix for some diagnostic services .
The only reason I left Dr. Quek was a change of address and his wait times got horrific for a while and I practice law and simply didn't have the time. He has gotten this under control entirely . He has seen me through a lot, including cancer, and is the most intuitive, patient, intelligent and understanding doctor I have ever seen by far .
He's not taking new patients to my knowledge so I'm not trying to pump his tires here I just wanted to clarify the facts. The simpleton that said she didn't like him because he didn't do what she directed is just too stupid to stay in her lane and understand that he's the doctor and in the confines of his office he gives the direction. As he should. He's the best doctor in every respect you can measure by far and away that I have seen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Third time speaking to a receptionist wearing panties 5 times too small. Who knew single, pencil pushing, cat lady women could push someone to rate a 1 star to a clinic with the absolutely fantastic and professional Dr. Quek seeing patients out of. A sack would suffice.
