What a terrible experience! I brought my truck in to have some warranty work done on my transmission, that I was told would be fully covered. I also opted to change the transmission filter, since they were going to have to change the fluid as part of the warranty work. I also got a new battery. After warranty coverage, my cost was supposed to be just over $600, as we agreed. They had the truck longer than planned and the wife had to pick it up. They tried to charge her over $1700! After my wife called me and more than half an hour of arguing on the phone with horribly rude staff and hearing them be nasty to my wife and them threatening to rip all the parts out of my truck, they brought the price down to around $900. Still much higher than we agreed, but I wasn’t going to have my wife deal with them any further. I will never use Preston GM for anything EVER again. I’ve heard similar stories from others about Preston.

I don’t usually take my truck to a dealership to get fixed because it’s generally more expensive but I had an airbag recall so it could be replaced free of charge. I got an oil change while I was there as well, and I gotta say, the service was so good, I actually wouldn’t mind paying a little extra to come back. Gurp was the one working on my truck and he was freakin excellent. They offer a complimentary car wash with service, and got me a ride home! I didn’t know getting your truck worked on could be such a positive experience!

The service person that took my car was nice and let me know about the previous recall and let me know he was going to order the part needed . The only issue was the time . It was an free oil change which would normally take 15 mins at an oil change place . My appointment was for 2:30 and finally at 4:30 I went to the desk from the waiting area to see how long it would be and my car was sitting parked, job complete and waiting ! Just one thing ....... no one came to tell me ! The girls at the service department asked for my name and had no info . Had to go find the original guy and figure out what was happening . This is actually the third time this scenario has happened to either me or my husband! There is no communication or something to have people sitting while vehicle sits ready There is inefficiency all over the service department. So because of the over 2 hr wait for oil change isn't worth it being free . Or who knows maybe it was ready after an hour and no one said anything!

Unfortunately I didn’t have the best experience. I called to schedule for a warranty repair and have the proper parts order. One month passes and I haven’t received a call or email about anything. I call, and I am pushed through to various departments that keep passing me on to the next person. I visit the dealership in person to find out they never ordered the part and have no record of me calling or placing the order in the first place. This is after I doubled checked they had all the proper contact information and if I needed to follow up at all. Parts are ordered and my service date is scheduled. I bring my car in for service and I am about to leave with my rental car when they say the don’t have the parts and they forgot to call me AGAIN. They make promises that the parts will arrive and be completed within a day or two. A full week goes by before it is finally complete. I was promised a gas card to make up for the delay by the service manager herself and when I came to pick my vehicle up there was nothing said about the delays and no gas card either. I will say my service technician was very pleasant to work with and he was extremely polite and professional.

Fleet Manager goes above and beyond. She made sure that I get my new car on time as promised even with the winter storm in 2021. There is more to write positively but wanted to keep this short. When my car was released, all have been explained to me then contacted me after a few days for me to pick up my trunk liner. Very accommodating staff that gave the me liner. I wish all car dealers treat their customers similarly. The Fleet manager always keep me posted that did not ever leave me hanging which I appreciate the most. Many thanks!!!

Just had my Equinox delivered to my driveway! Amazing service. Brought my car in for service on Monday. People went home sick, power went out and it was a crazy day at Preston. With apologies, my car was a little late in getting looked at. It was top priority Tuesday morning, and they arranged a shuttle for me to come and get my car since I did not have a ride. When I got home the check engine light came back on. I had to call Jamal, and get them to look at the car again. I had not had the car serviced in a while. It needed spark plugs, oil change, and it turned out it needed a fuel injection cleaning. It was long overdue, and they even sent me photos to show what was happening. They did everything they could to save me money. Because I had left the fuel injection cleaning go for as long as I did I now have another part that I need. This is not any fault of anyone at Preston, but simply my lack of attention to the car. There was no judgement on their part or making me feel bad, and they have gone over and above to help me resolve these issues. I trust and would highly recommend the service team at Preston and especially Jamal. His service and communication throughout this whole week has been outstanding.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. Would have been better off going to a 10 minute oil change place than spending over 100$ for a simple oil change just to have the technician not put the oil cap back on and have oil absolutely everywhere in the engine bay and on my hood liner. Not to mention have my bumper shroud damaged from the cap being pinned between the hood and said shroud. I have no clue how the car didn't catch on fire but I'm glad it didn't... Have emailed about this issue with no response from anyone at Preston Chevy. Would not recommend going here for an oil change or trust them with anything that needs more attention to detail like brakes.

I do not recommend buying a vehicle here what so ever. There customer service is atrocious. 3 months after buying a vehicle here ( including extended warranty) we had nothing but a headache dealing with a waterpump gone on our truck. We were run around on the phone for hours at a time. Made multiple trips into the dealership to try and have things dealt with. An issue covered under manufacture warranty that was like pulling teeth to get any sort of answers yet alone service. Just to pickup our truck with a mirror now no longer attached to our truck(never an issue prior to drop off). We spent hours dealing with this to not even have an apology from management or any sort of compensation for our time and fuel. Do not waste your time with this place. Customer service is less then one star. Happy to sell to us. Not happy to help us after the fact .
