★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got a referral from my agent to contact Mr. Saleem. I received a written estimate of $750 for 3600 sqf upon receipt of home drawings he revised his price with a bit of a challenge to $700 cause the home size was 2700 sqf. On the day of payment my wife settled the bill and she was charged $800 while the average price in the area is $550. When I tried to ask him to honour his price based on the written email. He over took the conversation stating that based on website he should have charged me $900 cause the house had two kitchen.
I believe a written quote supersedes info on website.
The $100 did not make anyone rich or poor but completely erodes the establishment of trust and overshadowed individual performance and leave a feeling that one has been miss treated by a young contractor.
