Thank you for the reply. I assume it is the generation divide of a younger employee and an older customer. It was still a fairy unpleasant experience. I hope to see the experience change.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time at Home Hardware as I could not find Home Depot in Port Elgin. Pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service of the friendly staff. I was looking for vinyl flooring. The associate patiently explained the difference between laminate and vinyl and showed the variety. Helped me choose the appropriate material. The room looked beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing customer service. The lady at the paint desk was very nice, and the older gentleman in the tool department was very helpful with a complete beginner. Even when I called back because I was confused he was patient and explained how to do it. Will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just picked up some 2x2x8 for a project. Yard Guy was polite and took my paper and said he would be right back. I did not get out of the car just opened the trunk door and he put the 6 pieces in. I thanked him and went on my way. Got home and took the wood out of the car and this is what I got. Five pieces were ok and one was already cut. I am not impressed. I borrowed the vehicle so it takes time and it’s pain to try and take it back to exchange it. Just disappointed
Update* called them and they came to my place with to take the wood and brought me the correct pieces. I am satisfied now. Thank you customer service.
