★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have never been on the island but have looked across the river at it many times while biking in Fish Creek. I have seen a lot of wildlife living on the island. It's nice to be able to see the birds, deer, and beavers all living together right in Calgary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poplar Island is a Nature Preserve for Wildlife. No People are allowed on the island. If you see one call the Provincial Park, I believe they will send an Officer right away. Nice to see one last Beautiful Nature Preserve in the City.
