★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What used to be a relatively quite secret of the negbouirhood kids in the 80's and 90's is now exposed via a paved pathway which makes this place a lot busier then it used to be. Reasonably good swimming hole in the summer and still one of the cooler erratic's in Alberta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little spot in winter. It’s a short walk from the parking lot over to the caves. Really neat in winter. Happy to see it had not been destroyed by people throwing rocks or kicking at the ice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited with a Beavers group. We missed the timing for solid enough ice to cross to the ice caves & big rock from the North side, but still got in a nice walk and played at the dry cave at the lookout spot.
