★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to explore mostly undeveloped riverbank. There are some easy paths for any age or skill, right from the gravel parking lot. You can also head down the steep river bank, and in low river years, walk on the sand a kilometre in either direction. In less dry years, it's all river.
This is also a fairly good place (with a steepish bank) to launch a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard, to follow the river into Saskatoon.
