Staying here off-season, huge suite with balcony and fireplace, kitchen, living room, etc for $100 per night vs any hotel room at even much more cost, no comparison! We will stay here every time we visit! Amazing deal, quiet setting and great front desk staff!

Good overall experience. Suite was clean and well set up. Nice that it had underground parking. Kitchen had everything we needed. The biggest complaint was that the bed was very uncomfortable and the furniture in the sitting area was not too comfortable either. But all in all I Was very pleased.

Great hotel steps from the lift and restaurants at the base of the resort have delicious food and great live music. The two hot tubs outside make for a perfect spot to rest the legs after a long day.

The Polaris Lodge is at the base of the Kimberley Alpine Resort, the rooms are nice, there is a restaurant inside that has changed a few times but is always good, you can even ski right down onto the deck in the winter. It had great access to the hill and ski lift. The parking lot can leave a little bit to be desired but overall it's fine. The staff are friendly and this last weekend there were activities on in the deck which included face painting and a giant outdoor screening of Incredibles 2.

They were very accommodating, my girlfriend and I switched rooms and the executed the transition smoothly. The room we chose to stay in was a room we have stayed in before. It was excellent, especially being right next to the hill. The only downside was the jacuzzi tub in our bathroom was still unoperational, even after a year from our last visit...

So convenient for ski in/ ski out. Parking underground is heated and convenient. Room was clean upon arrival and space was very adequate. If you're planning to cook, the Kitchen supplies are limited. No basics like salt, pepper or oil etc. Dishes were also limited...only 3 bowls, few glasses, pans etc. Staff replenished soaps etc, but does no cleaning and things like toilet brushes are not provided.

Honestly the worst mattress I have ever slept on in my entire life. And I have slept in many cheap hostels. So the good parts first: It was clean. The bathroom was quite nice and there was a balcony. Friendly room cleaners. Negative parts: No bowls. Seriously what hotel does not have bowls for this kind of price. The price. The value for price is just not worthed. The air-conditioning and the refrigerator were very noisy. Check in manager could not even tell us where to park. And the worst of the worst: the mattress. You could feel every spring in the mattress. It was just horrible. All in all definitely not a recommendation. You're better off going to Trickle Creek Lodge

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years and we were truly disappointed this week. We asked for a king sized suite and were given a queen. We overlooked the very noisy air conditioner and parking lot. The bed in 209 was like sleeping on straw compared to the normally super comfy beds.We requested at the office for a king on the ski side but they were not cleaning do to CIVID. This makes no sense. Restaurant closed Mon to Wed, and they were having boiler issues with pool and hot tub. We paid full price. We will not book again. There are many condos to rent in Kimberly. With COVID and many people not travelling now is the time to shine so word mouth and reviews are extremely positive. Not this.
