★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful little beach. Plenty of picnic tables and good Sandy beach. On a sunny day, you can spend all day here! There's washrooms and changing rooms and lots of parking space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best beach in the area. Retrooms, change area, picnic area, grassy places to play.
Nice sandy beach, shallow water for a long distance so it is warm and not too big a worry with kids. Never met a noisy or rude person there. No seaweed in close so the kids don't get grossed out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's great to have this large, sandy beach relatively close to town. Lots of parking, sometimes packed. The bottom has many smooth, slippery stones, so pool/water shoes are a good idea. The water is warmer (less cold) here than at beaches up the Superior coast. The water is shallow for a long way out. Only rarely is there an obnoxious group drinking and arguing or playing loud music. Like almost everywhere else, almost everyone is quiet and peaceful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed the beach with the children and dogs. Picnic bench to relax and have a snack. Sandy Beach to build sand castle. Short distance from car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rocky beach, which works for me as I’m always collecting pretty rocks, but wasnt a whole lot of fun to walk around on. It’s sectioned off with picnic tables right on the beach, nice spot
