Kids learned swimming here, fine memories. It is located not far from Pointe Claire city hall, the high water tower visible at the top of mountain royal, it share the huge parking lot with city arena which is used as vaccination center during covid. Many of Canadian Olympian trained here and won medals, and there are some coaches are very good. There is free family swimming during weekends for city residents, and there are swimming, diving courses offered here, there is huge gymnastics room inside, people do the warm up before jumping into the water ? ?

Beautiful pool. World class facility. Safe environment due to strict adherence to COVID protocols. Vaccine proof required at entrance for all activities.

It's impossible to breath in the gym after 30 minutes of exercice. It's such a pity that they don't invest in a ventilation system because if it wasn't for that, I would have given it a 5-star. Definitely not renewing my monthly subscribtion. There are better gyms out there where you can exercice in a comfortable and airy/ventilated environment.

Dec. 21, 2021: I know everything is changing and I am glad the Centre is still open for swimming but the setup makes no sense. I arrive and all of my documents are checked (fine) so they know I am there at the correct time. Then I walk to the west end of the building to a tiny locker room where there is no place to sit. I carry all of my stuff to the east end of the building to swim and it appears as though everyone else did the same thing with all of the coats and boots. Then I walk back to the west end of the building in my swimsuit carrying all of my possessions. I find a spot to get changed but then I can't even go back out the main entrance; I am just dumped out the side of the building. And of course I am wearing a mask all the time and sometime I don't have my glasses so I can't see. And staff are asking me if I am there at the right time? What was wrong with the small change room in the east end just beside the pool if I don't need to shower? People are just quickly going through so social distancing isn't the problem. There seems to be lots of staff. Why don't they explain this odyssey to the patrons? Edit Feb. 20, 2022: still glad it is open, much more regular routine. Thank you. Wish I knew how to get the VIP status so I could a lane. I would be happy if there was a lane assigned to my reservation rather than trying to jam myself into a lane with two other swimmers.

There are 4 pools; an Olympic type pool and lap pool in one area and a baby pool and 25 yard family pool in another area. Today we swam in the family pool. I loved it! It was like walking into warm bath water and probably one of the only pools I can go into as I detest cold water. The lifeguards are extremely vigilant which is great. There's a little slide many many floaties and toys to play with in the pool. Your advice to wear a mask from the change in room to the pool but many don't respect that... Understandably... The changing rooms could use a little revamping as they are little run down but functional. The showers are hot enough, some offering more pressure than others. The lockers are kind of dingy-looking as are the old styled bathroom stalls but the benches and floors are generally clean enough. There area lot of helpful staff members around. Tonight happened to be crowded but it's spacious enough that we weren't trampling on anyone. We went a few nights ago as well and we're practically the only people in that pool. The kids loved it abd are already asking to go back. All in all, a great experience.
