★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although called area, nowadays people know here as COVID-19 vaccination center in westisland, especially the one at DDO library closed the door. Still found 2 young kids played on ice with an adult (presumably same family pod), probably you need registered online or phone with the city in advance ?. The government offers Moderna jab to regular population, and reserve Pfizer vaccine for 15-29 years old and special groups ?. Appointment only for the jab, they offer new masks to enter, the entrance is on far end of the building, the official entrance used as exit. The small sign on the ground to point the direction is not that visible with the snow, if put a big sign on the wall would help the people

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for COVID19 vaccination. The operation was smooth. The activity was very well organized. The arena was convient to handle such a big operation. The place was clean. Parking is available Finding a parking spot was easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was at Bob Birnie Arena for my Covid-19 vaccination and was in-and-out in 30 minutes. It's run by friendly and professional staff. The process was to: arrive, line up, (there were only 2 people ahead of me), get registered, answer a series of questions to determine risk, get the jab, wait 15 minutes to assure that you are not having an allergic reaction before leaving. Easy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly an underrated arena. Great changing rooms, they are big, restrooms clean and good quality. Benches are pretty big, there is a bench for the coaches to get an upper view of the game. Lot of stands, no problem to find a place to sit. Ice is in relatively good quality, nets are a bit small though. Lots of parking space as well.
