I ordered a POD a month in advance and 15 minutes before drop off the driver tells me they can't do it despite no new information coming to light. No one fr customer service followed up. I was left scrambling at the last minute.

If I could give 0 stars I would. HORRIBLE customer service. You have to wait 3-5 business days to speak to ANY type of management ( and expect way longer than that.) I spent more time on the phone with this company than I did work for a week. Also wait for your credit card to be charged more than was what on the quote once the bin is picked up :) avoid at all costs.

No communication, random charges to my credit card not in line with their TOS. Unable to retrieve my belongings on 3 trips to the WH. Unable to schedule more than 1 day at a time to pick up belongings. Have to wait another 10 days to pick up the remainder. CS agents beyond. Cannot tell you when your container arrived, but will give sarcastic passive aggressive answers to question. Stay away.. Stay far away until the shipping industry is not overwhelmed.

This is the WORST experience I've ever had with a moving company. My container has not arrived yet after TWO WEEKS of delay. They were supposed to ship my container from Montreal To Vancouver, received around 5K CAD upfront, and the final pickup date has been delayed for more than 4 times. Last time I logged into my account the pickup date was updated to TBD. Their excuses include: 1- Due to bad weather 2- Your truck has been broken? 3- The original carrier backed out 4- Snow again! UNBELIVEBLE! My whole life is in that container and I had to buy many of them again to continue my normal life while waiting for my container to arrive, which costs me a lot. The customer services are also very bad, they don't have much information to share with you and always need to double check with the logistics to give you an update on where your container might be (which they never told me)

I am so impressed with all aspects of this company. We self moved and PODS made it so smooth. From the first phone call to the delivery to the drop off at our new home. I would use them again for sure.

Very disappointed in the PODS moving company. My family is moving across the continent, so we set up our move with PODS over a month before we were scheduled to leave the country, to give us time to complete the international paper work, etc, required. Our POD driver showed up a week before we are getting on a plane to leave the country, and told us that he wasn't able to deliver the pod because there was no where he could park it. At no point during our communications with POD did it appear that this would be a problem. So, now we have an international move to plan in under a week. I'm completely flabbergasted that this issue wasn't caught and addressed earlier, since there are (according to the driver) a number of constraints regarding the space needed to park the pod, which were never communicated to us as the customers.

From the bad reviews here, it seems it's more difficult when you're moving far distances. However, our move was just from Surrey to Maple Ridge. We had a dilemma where our new home was still under construction and the new owners of our current house needed to move in. We rented the PODS service for a month and I even got a discount code from a blog that compared different storage box companies. Their website is pretty easy to navigate and once you've created an account, you can choose the dates that you want (delivery of box to current place, pick up of box to the storage facility, delivery of box to new place, final pick up of box). A day before your scheduled date, you'll be able to see the window of time when they deliver or pick up. On the actual day, the operator will call you when they're on their way. You don't have to be there when they pick up or drop off but it is nice to witness how the whole thing works! It's pretty cool. Anyways, our experience was smooth with PODS. Our stuff inside the box was untouched and all safe (you can add a lock to your purchase). We also booked a month in advance so we were able to get the dates that we wanted. I hope you have a great experience like we did!

I had a very nice experience with PODS. There were no surprises as everything went as explained in the first phone. I had a profile in a web platform to follow, schedule and change my delivery steps and they were very punctual. I took the precautions to prepare my furniture and protect it with ropes and rags and everything was delivered exactly the way I sent it. I strongly recommend them!
