The first time one of the women was very rude to us and she was not the one cutting our hair The second time one of my boys was booked in with someone fresh out of hairdressing school (without telling us until after she done) and she made such a mess! By the time she had his hair evened out my poor 4 year old was almost bald for his school pictures. I will never take my business there again.

I felt so awesome when I left that I booked a follow up appointment to Refresh my color. I got so many stop n stares after that I was strutting hard lol. I love my hair even more than when I went in. Thanks to Platinum Salon for sassying my do.

B	Brie McAuley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the worst experience at this salon. Before you even think about going in there PLEASE READ WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. My hair was ruined including my $80.00 sweater that the OWNER called a "hobbo" sweater. We were PROMISED to have our money back from what happened but when the owner called my mom she said she's only giving her back $45.00 and then called my sweater a hobbo sweater and hung up on her. I'm from Toronto, and I was leaving to Los Angeles the next day for work. I told the girl at the beginning what I wanted done, a bleach and showed her a reference picture. She put highlights in my hair which I did not want, and have never liked on myself ever. She spent the next 4 hours trying to make my hair one solid colour which ended up making it look worse, and really orange in other places. She even asked me if I put my hair up often which I now know why because underneath was never touched. I really appreciated the fact she spent so much time trying to fix my hair, I even emailed the salon about how I appreciated that the next day. But now that the owner got involved, I am REALLY not happy and will not stop until we get our money back from my hair and my sweater. So my mom goes in today to talk to the owner WHO ISNT EVEN THERE. Very unprofessional the way this was handled and you should reconsider what you do if this is how you treat your customers.
A	Alex Morrison on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best salon in North Battleford! I have never had a bad experience there, and all of the stylists there are amazing and friendly! What's even better is that they always have the health of your hair as their best interest, which is very important! 12/10 would recommend! They will always be realistic with you about your "hair goals" if you have black box dyed hair and show ANY educated stylist a picture of photoshopped platinum blonde hair and expect that in one sitting, that obviously isn't going to happen. I know this because I was once that customer. I'm seeing all these low ratings and reviews and all I can think is that these people have NO IDEA how hair dye works. If a salon refuses to fry your hair off you should be thankful. If you had a bad experience there it's probably because 1)You didn't get what you wanted because it was unrealistic and the salon refused to destroy your hair, or 2)You were being difficult. The place is always clean, they serve alcohol, the pricing is reasonable, and the stylists are highly educated with their best interest being the health of your hair.. I don't know how it gets any better than that. Five stars from me! Below are photos of my own personal experience!
A	Amanda Mudge on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I went to Salon Platinum to get my nails done on my birthday and I was with the nail tech and on a personal level she was nice but the gel nails I got from her were awful, they were uneven and lumpy and just looked bad, I had to go to someone else to get them fixed. The next day I went back to the salon to ask for a refund and they said the manager wasn't in but they took my name and number and said they'd get back to me and since then they did call me back but I was away from my phone and when I called back they said the manager was busy and said she would call me back and she never did. I get the feeling they're trying to put it off so that I'll forget and then they wont have to pay me back. Almost a month has gone by and I still haven't received a satisfactory response from them.
