Wow, what an experience. I was deeply in pain with a cracked and decayed tooth. I gave Dr Jerry Vasilakos clinic a call and was booked in for an emergency appointment within the hour. After examining my tooth Dr Vasilakos gave me a quote and got to work. I was in and out and back to work in under 45 minutes! The service was fantastic and the price was very reasonable.

Jerry and co have looked after me for 20+ years. The result? Zero cavities!

Dr. Vasalakos is an excellent dentist. Ive had crowns and repair work done. Superb work and quality. Also have had many cleanings done by the hygienists who are also excellent. His staff are super friendly and the office has such a relaxing vibe. I can’t recommend them enough.

I was referred to Dr. Jerry Vasilakos by my endodontist, Dr. George Saz. The latter is absolutely first-rate, so I admit being pleasantly unsurprised that the same is true of Saz’s learned colleague. I had a cracked tooth, and a local still other dentist took out a fragment. This first dentist proposed a plan to remove the tooth, do an implant, and do a crown bridge, a process that would take 7 months for bone grafting to take and up to $5,600 for just the one tooth. Drs. Saz and Vasilakos together were far more reasonable than that. And in fact, Dr. Vasilakos had the ability to save the tooth, even though the crack was below the gumline! That is a feat apparently thought impossible by my Kanata dentist whom I will not name. Dr. Vasilakos has a wonderfully humorous administrator, who jokingly promised that the good doctor would have me out in time for rush hour! I had driven 3.5 hours to Toronto for Dr. Saz’s emergency treatment, and both gentlemen fit me into two visits each over two days. They could not possibly have been more accommodating. The exuberance of Planet Dentistry as a name – fostering global consciousness – which I like and deem crucial for all of us – and the spirited decor were uplifting. Dr. Vasilokos firmly shook my hand, an appreciated gesture. He was like a wizard. He worked and took account of the partial tooth, inputting into an amazing computerized imaging device. In 3D, he rotated a model of the new crown-to-be and modified it as needed. Then he sent a command to an automatic milling machine to actually make the crown in his own office! (This is uncommon to say the least – normally crowns are sent out for and take several months.) The milling machine was an amazing piece of tech. Dr. Vasilakos kindly let me press the start button. This wondrous device is the size of a large printer. Yet it is not a 3D printer. It was explained to me that it is actually the opposite: it starts with a porcelain tablet and two drills with diamond bits at the ends go at it to reduce the mass to just the right shape. Liquids spurt out during the visible process. I was mesmerized. When it was done, it was pronounced perfect – just how it felt in the end! I could handle the crown before it was sanitized and implanted. The dental assistant was marvelous as well. Dr. Vasilakos did more welfare checks – by asking how I was doing – than any dentist I have ever known. His deep well of knowledge is coupled with a warm and caring heart. I would recommend anyone to benefit from this wonderful doctor’s stupendously superb services!
