★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location for an arena...highway access, parking etc. State of the art PA and good acoustics, overall good sound quality especially compared to some arenas. Get all of your beer early, they shut the bar when the headliner takes the stage. Anxious to get to a Rockets game here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Weird seat labeling, The house lights were down 30+ minutes before the show started, making finding your seats awkward. Arrived 15 minutes before show time and they were already our of the reasonably over priced beer (9$) and only had the premium (11$)(it was not very good).
Sound is what you would expect for a place built for hockey. Raised on that sound, I'm fine with it. People used to better sounding venues might balk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great environment. For an AHL team there is a great environment. Loved the way the players entered on the ice, but all the flashing lights may give people seizures. Also because of the size of the rink the noise is amplified and very loud(in a good way).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You have a great view, no matter where you sit. The seats are comfortable even for plus sizes ? and there's leg room. If you're afraid of heights, you should be okay here, its not too high nor steep.
The concession stands are reasonably priced.
Parking is $14 for events.
The lodges are nice, the staff in them are friendly and helpful.
