Community classrooms is all I can rate this company on, and they failed my family. Did nothing to address concerns which have negatively impacted my child. Condescending attitude and excuses was the only thing we received. Made no offer to help fix anything. I think some children do benefit from Community Classrooms so it may be worth your while but if you see your child declining as a result of participation in this program I suggest you get out ASAP. They will promise you the moon to fix it but it's all false. They only see you as a revenue source and need you not to leave. (After seeing the response from owner below) The response is lame. There was a whole year of problems that were ignored until my wife finally went to the owner, albeit too late, to enact change. The solutions provided were ineffective at best and potentially dangerous. I'm sure Pivot Point doesn't want a list posted of what went wrong. As far as connecting with the teacher, we were asked to keep distance by Pivot Point. So please stop the false statements. In the end, some people may benefit from this company. I don't think all the people are bad. Just if you do notice problems, move on quickly. Don't waste time looking for solutions. They are not interested if it hits their pocketbook. (Which is why Autism treatment should be a health issue, publicly funded, not left to the private sector)

Our 10year old daughter attends a pivot point community class and loves it. She is actually excited to go to school, which I thought would never happen! The staff are kind and caring, and are accommodating to our daughters needs. We are so relieved to know we are dropping her off at a place for the day where we don't have to worry about her being neglected or bullied.

My son was going through so many struggles in school while waiting for a diagnosis, he was treated as a problem with not provided solutions or help. He attended a Community Classroom and was able to learn tools to self advocate and push through his struggles and was able to return to public school for the rest of the school year while waiting for his formal diagnosis (Most likely ODD and ASD. Classrooms have Behavior Interventionists available to help support and redirect Behaviors in a positive way and with the support of a DL academics can be maintained as well as learning is adapted to the child which is something you can't get in the school system. On top of that in the Classrooms they also learn life skills like cooking and cleaning as well as social skills and emotional support and tools for self regulation. My son will most likely transition back into Pivot Point after he receives his formal diagnosis. This program supports not only children but families as well with so many additional resources available it takes the stress off of a prant trying to source out all these resources on our own.
